They already have 4 theaters. They need at least 2 more.
It would help if another attraction in another park used the same mechanics, e.g., a Big Hero Six ride in DHS where you're riding atop Baymax.

To expand on this thought, if a VQ is the greatest operational and guest satisfaction line management tool ever created... then why haven’t we seen it take over the standby duties at least of FoP and 7D? Because it would be a guest services disaster to tell people the line is ‘closed’ and they effectively can’t ride the headliner attraction today.
RotR is a special circumstance. The perfect storm of a one of a kind experience, low capacity operations and huge demand. VQ should not be used in normal circumstances.
Dumbo uses VQ and FastPass and and it works quite well. The issue is that the demand for Rise is far greater than capacity so most are excluded from joining the VQ.
They are limited and contained.
The ride system isn’t considered sacred, but nothing has come of it going elsewhere yet.It would help if another attraction in another park used the same mechanics, e.g., a Big Hero Six ride in DHS where you're riding atop Baymax.
With the trackless systems and such (second one to open at WDW), do we expect MMRR to run reliably enough without VQ? Asking for a friend.
Its probably been asked somewhere but will there be fast moving sections or all slow moving like the GMR?
Meh. I don’t see it as a problem that a major headliner can have that long a standby wait. Easy to avoid if you plan ahead.
If only it were that easy! FP+ reservations go live at 7am EST, which is 4am for those of us on the West Coast. Quite an awkward time!Only if you’re staying on site. If you consider being up at midnight 60 some days before your trip, and hope some slots are still open, easy.

Oh much faster than GMR. The vehicles will be approximately the size and speed of those on RotR.
Boarding groups I believe are seen as a way to handle extra large demand as well as potential ride issues.@marni1971 Any help with this?
Why would it improve attendance? If you’re not there at Rope Drop you’re probably not riding, so there’s no draw if you can’t be there by 6:30 AMSo far it hasn’t been that big surprisingly. More like displaced attendance timings.

FP/Standby at least makes you think you’ve got a shot

I don’t know. I’d hope not. You don’t pay admission to have to choose. So we should be expecting to make a choice of VQ for MMRR or ROTR? Since MMRR is sure to get large crowds.
