I highly doubt it. They’re already in construction mode. Maybe future projects like Avengers E Ticket, Fantasyland expansion or Tomorrowland redo maybe postponed.
Where does this rumor come from might I ask?According to the rumor:
Current response plan by TDA is to have MMRR site contractors wrap up current work and then put the site into deep freeze until it can (hopefully) be restarted later this year. The opening for MMRR will be delayed because of that, assuming it restarts work by the end of this fiscal year.
The rumor is that if it were to resume construction, it will not likely be until the start of the new fiscal year in October, if we're lucky. My concern is that it could be quietly canceled.

A part of me would find a very slight satisfaction in keeping this ride as a unique headliner for DHS considering we lost a very unique headliner to get it and it seemed almost unfair that you guys would get the same ride and not lose anything for it.

Per Anaheim City permits. Inspectors have been out to the building site as recently as today. Why would they need to inspect a project on hold or canceled. Also I was at Disneyland last week and definitely saw action on the ground.
Forgetting The Great Movie Ride for Mickey? The rest kind of had to go. SWL is worth losing seasonal lights imo.DHS lost the tram tour, lights motors stunt show, honey I shrunk playground, a flex theatre for live shows, and the venue for Osborne lights. Disneyland gained more scenery for the railroad and riverboats.
Since the post above mine was about that I didn’t think I needed to mention it again.Forgetting The Great Movie Ride for Mickey? The rest kind of had to go. SWL is worth losing seasonal lights imo.
The production angle just didn’t work anymore without actual production going on and SoA was wasted real estate.Since the post above mine was about that I didn’t think I needed to mention it again.
Lights motors didn’t need to go anywhere, it was still a popular and impressive show. The tram tour needed work, but still had lots of potential.
With the amount of land available around DHS there was no reason we couldn’t have actually expanded DHS and not just replaced it.
Hmmmmmm.

No, the ride has already been announced and detailed, and very early ground preparation on the site has started. It's just that some are reporting that construction is going to be delayed, which I personally would take with a grain of salt.So it's true, then, that the ride is not coming to Disneyland at all?

I did say almost unfair. Also I don’t get the ridicule. Disneyland gets many actual additions meanwhile in WDW the more common practice is closures and rethemes of unique attractions whenever something new comes. In WDW we lost The Great Movie Ride to get Mickey. In Disneyland you’d only lose backstage areas to get Mickey. And we’re the ones with “the blessing of size.” The way we operate we’ll never have a park as packed as yours.Unfair?
No idea. I was going off of what you were saying. So it's true, then, that the ride is not coming to Disneyland at all?
How did you get to that conclusion from their post?
The ride has not been cancelled.

Not yet, it hasn't. But they have canceled projects during their development/construction before, have they not?
That’s not my point. I asked how you came to the conclusion that the project was cancelled from that post? There was nothing in that post that flat out reported the ride being cancelled.
