Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway - Disneyland

This attraction does have a lot of potential. Just hoping that Disney will confirm this rumor. This is one attraction I really want to have at Disneyland.

I want the idea of the attraction at Disneyland, but let's wait until we see the finished thing in WDW before advocating for it's placement inside Disneyland.

They could botch this, we have no idea until we see more about it.

Crossover events should never be anything more than a TV show episode. Having WIR2 be part of the Disney canon is ridiculous. It's unfit.

That's kind of the entire schtick of the first one. Its a giant video game crossover.

So I'm not sure I understand the harm unless you hate Wreck it Ralph's Schtick in general.

Sure if Wreck it Ralph pops up in Frozen 2 that's wrong, but that's apples and oranges.

While I agree with this, the original WIR seems to be less sell-y than this movie. The IP characters in the first movie were only seen for a short time, while in WIR 2 the IP locations seem to be more involved with the plot, which I don't really like. Maybe the movie will surprise me and have ralph going to fake websites throughout the plot, but the trailers have me worried about the likelihood of that, with the exception of the bunny pancake scene.

Honestly the trailers were very heavy handed on the villain support group for the original. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, I don't think we'll have 40 minutes of princess on princess by any means. Marketing is being marketing.

My problem with the first wasn't that it was a crossover so much as it was about video games. And the fact the movie sucked. And having to listen to Sarah Silverman's cold, shrill voice. Nasty wench should be hanged for her crimes against my ears.

What about the plot did you not like? Not liking a voice or the fact it's about games is not enough to back your hatred IMO. I can say what I dislike about the movie for example
It's a little forgettable, I can remember why ralph goes on his journey, why Venelope is hated, and king candy being turbo and the big finale, but everything else is lost on me. Still a good movie though, and I enjoyed it.

Entire movie felt like a bad Dreamsworks cartoon. Like Over the Hedge or something. The modern day setting is also something that really bothers me in Disney animated movies. The fact Wreck It Ralph wasn't just a 1980's set movie is so weird. Yeah, I know, the age of the game or whatever plays a part in the movie but I don't care. Also hate the candy land nonsense and the stupid humor throughout. There's nothing about that movie I remember enjoying.
