Yeah, whatever. Despite the hate of a few on these forums, the M:B overlay was relatively well-received by guests. And the great rallying cry of "it doesn't fit" will soon be over once the superhero land is built around it.

The Earful Tower is gone. Mr. Toad is gone. The Great Movie Ride is gone. Things change. The writing's on the wall: ToT and RnRC will be eventually rethemed with established Disney property. The fact that CBS is reviving Twilight Zone makes its demise in the Disneyverse all that more certain.
I don’t recall ever caring what the guests thought. Disney can sell candy s*** and guest will buy it. It’s not my problem that Disney has to pander by making rides with “slap in the face stories” and rides that just get to the point versus something that builds.

I do expect Disney to remove the Twilight Zone brand from ToT in the near future, but I don't anticipate any extreme makeover any time soon. They decided against going the M:B route with DHS's ToT for a reason, so it would be odd for them to turn around and completely re-theme it to something else. I could see some IP being injected into the ride in a minor way that still retains the crux of the current ride. RnRC, on the other hand, is likely going to be re-themed as part of a new land that fills the space next to (and maybe including) Animation Courtyard.

So, I guess you'll stop going when it happens.

We're trying to get a picture with the 7 Dwarfs. It seems that everyone says to get in line for them super early. I was wondering if there is any chance that their line would be doable towards the end of the party?
I went a few years ago and if you want the 7 dwarfs you should probably get in line early

I'm certainly one of those that thought the new overlay turned out to be a great ride — at least in California where the different layout and dynamics of the "lesser" tower worked in favor of the overlay. That would be more difficult to pull off in DHS - some reworking of the story would be needed to pull it off.

That said, I really hope there would be a way for Disney to keep it Twilight Zone themed, as least in FL. Or if they lose the TZ license, make it a Jack Skellington ride or something to keep the creepy paranormal-ish vibe.

I’m curious when did the teacups groups stop turning bc in the video the main turntable was obviously spinning but the smaller ones were stationary

Just watched a video carefully - everything is turning correctly. Follow one teacup (it helped me to choose guests with distinct headgear) and you can make it out.

They seem to have a successful formula so no reason to change.

Boo to You needs to go next (yes I realize it’s WDWs best parade but 15 years in enough)
It’s our best parade...why replace it? As long as they keep refreshing it like they do every couple of years to keep it fresh why mess with something that works so well?
Far inferior shows and parades have had much longer runs.

If that were true, Stitch's Great Escape would still be open and running as it was.

It's still a shame that an attraction, such as Stitch, sits forlorn and gathering dust. It would still make for a change of pace and lots of children enjoyed it. Disney should close it down when they're actually going to accomplish something with that space.
