No it's not, but keep being delusional and thinking otherwise. Festival of Fantasy is better
FoF and Boo to You are two very different parades honestly.
Yes FoF has the elaborate floats, but they don’t have anything close to the gravediggers, dead waltzing, pirate flag Corp, sugar rush dancers, etc. Boo to You has a lot of speciality units and performers, presenting different stories and actual attractions in the park in unique ways.

Updates I'd like to see:

1. higher rez projection mapping projections for Hocus Pocus and Hallowishes
2. move the high-demand M&Gs to take over Mickey's, Tink's, and the Princesses' meeting places so that you can have one-lobby many-rooms access
3. nix the inexplicable Halloween Hoedown float and dancers and replace with Monsters Inc

I’m just curious your logic of how a Monsters Inc float would make more sense than a Halloween/Fall hoedown???

You aren't sure how *monsters* and *Halloween* go together?

Also, if that's supposed to represent the season of Autumn, how do Country Bears represent the Fall?

The biggest thing that annoys me about the parties in August is that despite arriving on August 15th, all of my summer vacation photos in Magic Kingdom have Halloween decor everywhere.

I can live with it, but I don't really like it.

I think the country bears are associated with country. Which ties to farms. Farmers celebrate the harvest and the harvest is closely tied to fall. I think that section is fine and is needed. But I think some sections could be added. I think each land at the MK needs to be represented. We have Adventureland, Frontierland, fantasyland, liberty square. So momster’s inc would be a great way to tie in a Tomorrowland section.

Also, a NBC float should be a no brainer.

So the concept of the parade is actually that each unit is supposed to be a different land and that the Magic Kingdom is celebrating Halloween. So the opening unit is Mickey inviting everyone, the gazebo is a loose representation of Main Street. Then you have Adventureland with Peter Pan and Pirates, Liberty Square with Haunted Mansion, and Frontierland with the Harvest Hoedown.
The candy/Wreck it Ralph unit and Villains units are kind of there own thing. This is all from the show director, and apparently there was a Tomorrowland unit soundtrack created but it just never came to fruition, maybe someday!

I assumed that’s what they were going for! That’s really cool.

Well, once you throw in stuff "which are their own thing" then anything goes (looking at you, Mulan, in the pantheon of Disney Princesses).

Who are you?
David Pumpkins, man.
And you are...?
Mah own thang.

If the thematic abomination of Country=Frontier is going to celebrate Halloween representing Frontierland as a fall festival, it might've been better if they played up fall harvest with bales of hay and scarecrows mixed in. Maybe the harvest of high fructose corn syrup could then bring in the candy section with WiR and Vanellope.

But I like Monsters Inc representing Tomorrowland.

Let's play a game of "How Many Logical Fallacies Can You Spot?" I found 3:

1. I specifically said that Boo to You is considered a fantastic parade; I said nothing about my own opinion of it. Unless you can prove that BtY suffers from poor public perception, my belief that it is well received does not make me "delusional." Your statement to the contrary is thus an ad hominem argument.
2. I did not say anything about Festival of Fantasy, so which of the two parades you prefer is completely irrelevant here. Hence, your statement regarding the parade is a non sequitur.
3. If you have been following this conversation, you should understand that the debate is not about how good BtY is, but rather whether an offering of high quality should be discarded solely due to its age.
Boo to You needs to go next (yes I realize it’s WDWs best parade but 15 years in enough)
Entertainment should not be judged by its age. It should be judged by its quality. Boo to You is still considered a fantastic parade after 15 years, so why should Disney allocate a chunk of their parks budget towards replacing it?
Both posts assumed BtY's quality, and made a case for the parade's fate with that assumption taken as given. Your post attacked the assumption as if it were my conclusion, making it a straw man argument.

The decorations don't stand out as much if you shoot monochrome.
