All true, but I am often reminded of one thing. Security will always appear excessive until it is shown to be inadequate. And I wouldn't want it on my conscious that something bad happened b/c I had a major bridge, and one of the few ways out of DC, shut down. I agree in part, but as I cited, but some of what he has done has caused gross impositions and is falt out dangerous. Yes, unprecedented times, but things could be done differently than they are. Getting around DC and LA is bad enough under normal circumstances. Presidential complications or no, I do not miss all the horrible commutes that I had! And I didn't even have it as bad as some people. I still marvel at the people who live on the Eastern Shore and commute in and out of DC or NoVA. Insane!
I am about as far from a security expert as you can get. I peak and locking my doors and having anti-virus on my computer and phone. I tend to trust that those who do it for a living know something I don't.
