A quote from Universal's Nick Carpou (president of domestic distrib.) regarding Huntsman and their rivalry with Disney:
"I would have liked more people to go see ours, but I certainly wouldn't call it a flop either. The final chapter of this one has not been written, but with a B+ CinemaScore...I think there's a chance we're going to play out a bit better than that word (flop) would indicate."
Well, I guess there's not much else he could say.
Also noting Zootopia was the #4 film in the U.S. weekend box office in its 7th week, pulling in double the ticket sales of Batman Vs. Superman. I'm just really happy to see Zootopia and Jungle Book doing so well. Nice to see audiences embracing such refreshingly brilliant, good-hearted, optimistic movies.
