Liar! I called twice. Who better to ask then the cruise guru herself? The girls are super excited, and I'm ready for some R&R. This trip will probably be one for the ages........ should be an exciting trip report when we get back. Love you!
It was more than 2 calls! You can't count either!

Definitely gonna be an epic trip. Any trip with you & Tracey together is unforgettable, tho.

Love you, too. I know you said you were thinking of taking next Wednesday off to come down to Gramma's and as much as I miss you - don't. Keep killin' 'em selling. We'll see you Thursday either on the road or at Pop. I'm hoping for on the road, personally.

TTYS! :D

Heather, I see that your near Buffalo NY. I go to school at UB and and going to be on the May 25th Western Carribean cruise with my family. I fly out of Buffalo on the 24th and check into Cornado Springs for the night before embarking!!

P.S. Can't wait to meet everyone!
Cool! I'm actually from Toronto, Canada, but Buffalo is an easy drive with better flying prices!

Who's packing???? Y'all ready???? When ya leavin'???

I have started packing early! Miracles never cease. I never do this. YAY me!

Not ready. Still have to straighten up house (cleaning ladies coming while we're gone) and get my nails did.

Leaving Tuesday morning. Have to stop by to get Chandler's bottom retainer cemented down again then the boys & I are kickin' towards Florida. Staying at my Gramma's house in Pensacola Tuesday & Wednesday nights so we can visit. Heading down to Pop Century on Thursday morning. Will have to detour slightly in Gainesville to drop the dog at Pet Paradise. My bro & his girls will be driving into Pop Thursday, too. Poor Tracey is flying in on the late flight after work so he won't arrive via ME until midnight or so. Friday we hope to hit up Typhoon Lagoon to kick this tropical escape off right. And, oooh, gotta swing into Goofy's at DtD for a giant crispy treat or 2 or 4 ;) to take with us onboard.

We have the 11-11:30 port arrival time. Hope to get there early and score a good boarding group. Woot!!!

Omg! I haven't started packing yet and don't plan on it until Tuesday night. There are too many important things that I need until the last minute, so they can't be packed until Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Plus alot of my clothing is silk and I want to fold it at the last minute possible to avoid getting it too wrinkly (I don't want to have to steam EVERYTHING I bring onboard). My boyfriend still hasn't even bought a suit (trust me I've been on his back about it since February) so we're going to have to go shopping for that on Monday. Sigh. It never ceases to amaze me how last-minute men are. If he could have it his way, he'd pack the night before but since I'll be at his house tomorrow I'm going to force him to get it done then, lol!!!!
My mani/pedi appointment is on Wednesday afternoon so that'll get done then... Otherwise I'm prepared. Bought my skull t-shirt for pirate night and have finished buying the necessities (aloe gel, good sunscreen, lots of hair ties, etc.)

Glad Chandler is up and running for the cruise! Sucks that Tracey has to meet up with you and the boys after you all have arrived at Pop.

Chris and I plan on doing DTD on Thursday night (we should arrive at OKW sometime around 12:45-1pm)... We'll kill pre-dinner time with pool time and a probable lunch at Olivias (we may hit up Kouzzina at Boardwalk depending on how tired we are...)

Then Friday we plan on hitting up MK bright and early, doing what we really want to do (the mountains, HM, Pirates, etc.) We're gonna buy Chris a shirt for pirate night in the gift shop outside of PoTC or somewhere else in the park. After our 6pm dinner @ BOG we plan on going to Hollywood Studios from about 7pm until 10pm, and then head back to MK once HS closes for the midnight madness. I don't think our cruise bus is picking us up until about 10 or 11am the next morning so we'll have time to sleep before we head over to the cruise. I can't believe it's only 4 days left now! I am beyond excited!

@heatherkatheleen, I hear ya! It's like REAL now after 15 months of waiting!

I have virtually all of Brian's stuff ready to load into his duffel. Tracey wants to get his done tonight of tomorrow. Chandler? Who knows??? I'll probably pack him up tomorrow if he's here or not. He started a new job a few days ago, first REAL job so he's pretty distracted. Don't blame him, really.

Yeah, we debated Tracey driving with us or flying the Thursday night. The way their pay periods run (Friday noon to Friday noon) plus him working this weekend means the later the week gets he will roll into overtime pay. With his overtime rate he pays for that flight down in less than 2 hours. The other 12-15 hours he gets that he wouldn't if he made the drive are the big deciding fActor. It's what ya think of when you don't get paid time off work. ;)

I'm so psyched!!!!

That's awesome! Good for Chandler. I guess when you have kids & hubby to think about you've gotta start packing this early in advance... Good for you for being super organized!
And aww, well it's understandable why Tracey would fly down later then. Makes sense! As long as he's not missing out on any of the cruise ;)

We fly in to MCO on Friday and are staying the night at the Hyatt. If I did not have the kids with me I would be tempted to do the 24 hours at MK.

We're packed and ready to go, but it's a little strange because we still have to work tomorrow. Flying out right after, though!

It's almost real!

I hope I don't forget the time and place once we've sailed and I can't look it up.

I've been thinking about you guys! I hope you had a wonderful day at Castaway Cay and are ready to start writing trip reports when you get back! :)

Weeeeeeell, it poured rain all day. In fact, it blew in sideways quite a bit of the time. The wind was amazing. Still not sure how we even got to dock. We slept late and didn't get out of bed until noon. Never left the ship. Tracey walked off the mid gangway just to say he did and snap 2 pics. Castaway, I believe is safe to say, was a bust. But hey, there's always next time. Right?

The girls and I snorkeled in the monsoon and enjoyed the deserted island! LOL

I think they briefly served on the island because Jerry mentioned they ate. Cabanas served lunch on the ship, too. We ate lunch at Cabanas. I'd say by lunch time more than half the passengers on our sold-out sailing were on the ship.
