My point has been made!!! I think it may be a 70's thing. If you were at least a child in the 70's you know who Mark Hamill is! It's like not knowing who Bruce Jenner is, (and I mean before his reality special.)

Who??? I know Mark Hamill and I'm only 24. Maybe you should change it to "People who like the Star Wars films know who Mark Hamill is".

I also had a major crush on Harrison Ford because of those films. It started with Han Solo, moved to Indiana, and films like The Witness and Regarding Henry just made me weak at the knees!

And he's old enough to be my grandad!!!!:lookaroun

HERE is a whole gaggle of info on him: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000434/bio

That's funny that you say that because I met him in NYC in the early 90's and he was VERY friendly. I met him and his wife and son at the opening of the Warner Brothers store there. He did the Joker voice, among others, signed autographs for everyone. He seemed to be very nice and approachable person. When you were done he even took time to shake your hand before you left. Maybe you just saw him on a bad day?

I never said he wasn't nice, I just said he was full of himself. He was very obnoxious to the interviewer tho and I don't feel he deserved it. *shrug*

Harrison Ford will forever be in my heart as the hottest man on the planet, but IMO Baby Darth Vader provided some competition in the Star Wars world. :lookaroun

I do not know who Bruces Jenner is. (i might know him if i saw him)

I am 21 and I definately know who Mark Hamill is. The original star wars films were re-released on my 10th birthday, and then i grew up with the prequels being released. I mean...my childhood was focused around star wars.

Mark Hamill is my former college roomate's uncle. Though, she didn't tell me that until we had about three weeks left in the semester. I thought it was pretty cool.

I remember vividly going to see Star Wars in the theater. I was 6 years old and was just blown away. To this day, you will not find a bigger Star Wars fan. Mark Hamill shaped my childhood with his character. I currently own at least 4 different versions of the original movies, including the huge LaserDisc Box Set that I still have. To meet him would just be the coolest. I have already started working on my children...:king:

Celebrities @ WDW

A little off subject - sorry. Just curious, where do celebs usually stay? I'm figuring Disney has sorta a program in place for handling celeb visit. Like maybe encouraging them to stay in certain resorts? rooms? Everyone's read about the pop-up prince. I also read somewhere that during opening, Lucille Ball, Bob Hope & Ronald Regan stayed at the Poly. Also, the John Lennon thing. Just curious.

In the 80s, Bob Hope used to have a suite at the Royal Plaza hotel in Lake Buena Vista. Some of his personal items (I remember a putter) were kept there when he wasn't around and guests who rented the suite were allowed to handle them. (just don't take them with you when you leave. )

Lackluster is putting it mildly. Can any one say Corvette Summer? But his involvement as a voice in animation is quite extensive. He has done voices on more that 100 animated series including Avatar, Tigger and P00h, Justice League, Batman as well as a major role in the Video Game Wing Commander 3-5.

I've always loved his voice work!

I have to laugh, probably because no one is old enough to know that he is Luke Skywalker! Not too many of us can say "I saw Star Wars in the movie theater!" I do, I was only 6 at the time. Went with my older brother who was 13. I work with a 20's crowd (I'm in my late 30's) and it's awful how aged I feel some days. One girl, although extremely flighty, did not even know there was a Star Wars trilogy in the 70's!!

THIS IS HUGE PEOPLE!!! How awesome would it be to see Mark Hamill in his Luke gear! If I did not have a crush on him then...

Okay, NOW, I feel old - late 30'2 here as well. I do remember seeing the first Star Wars at the movie theater (the remaining two at the drive-in)! There is something about wathcing that movie on the big screen - it seemed to really have impact.

Ditto....same age. Back in the good old days of single screen theaters and lines around the block "Blockbuster" that we had to sit in for hours.

Man that is some of the old days! I was just thinking about this a few weeks ago when we went to see Speed Racer, which had only been out 3-4 weeks and only 12 of us in the theater. I can remember when the lines stretched for opening night to see all three of the first trilogy! I guess mutliplexes address that now, but I kind of miss the old days of standing in line with a bunch of other crazy fans :ROFLOL:- kind of like I do at WDW.
