theme: indoors, any photos taken inside a building.

requirements: stitching (oh yes!) you can do it by hand, with needle and thread, or use your sewing machine. you can punch holes and thread ribbon thru it also.

one more thing, a vertical title will be used also.

good luck and as always HAVE FUN!

Stitching!! Woo hoo!! Eagles is making (some) of us branch out!!

you can't really blame me for the stitching, it was not my idea in the first place! but i love it now. although i can't sew by hand at all, and my machine is stuck way in the back of a closet.

if any of my closet buddies want to help me get it out and one of them could entertain while the others get the machine.

i don't know what i am going to do yet. i might go the ribbon route, but not really sure. i want to try the needle and thread.

 I guess I could take a turn entertaining while you find your machine. It seems that Coree is going to be difficult. :ROFLOL:

I'm thinking of going the ribbon route, too. Now I just have to find some ribbon. :)

wow! guess i'm first this week. i didn't use disney pics for this week-i need to get more paper for that, so i used pics i took today at the mall when my mom, me, sister and brother went today. i think all of the requirements are there--vertical title, stitching (its blue on the first page down the edge of the 2 pics) and indoor pics. here ya go and can't wait to see all of yours!

Looks great, Amber. I love the colors and I also really like the way you used the stitching!

Here's mine. I again went digital this week. I decided that the only way I'm likely to get the pages done from before DD was born is to do them digitally. I have so many to do of her that the pre-DD pages have fallen by the wayside. However, if I go digital, I can do them more quickly and can work on them in smaller chunks of time without having to pull out and put away a bunch of stuff. So this is one of those. I don't know if my vertical words are really titles, but I think it fits the requirements anyway.

Great pages, Amber! You did such a nice job with your title and the stitching. I loved how you stitched down through the pictures! Did you do that by hand? It really pulls it all together! :)

What a beautiful page, Coree! It looks so elegant! Although I think you got out of trying stitching by doing it digitally. :lookaroun:lol: I think it's great that you are trying to get you pre dd pages done by doing them digitally! Best of luck with that- maybe by the end of the year you'll be all caught up! :sohappy:

Amber - Fantastic page. The stitching blends in so well with the page and I love the trolley paper. The photo with the hats on is so sweet!

Corree - Great page. The pink colour works great with the flowers in the photos. The hearts are really pretty too.

amber great page! love the stitching. did you do it by hand? how brave to go right thru your pictures.

and it just cracks me up that us scrapbookers, actually take a camera to the mall! i took the boys to a skateboard park and i actually forgot my camera, it was sitting here ready to go, but i walked right out without it. there would have been a couple of good shots.

coree, you have me confused. first your page is so elegant, you did a great job with the stitching. however, this page is not you? who is the lucky couple?

I didn't actually decide to go digital to avoid realy stitching, but it was a happy side effect. :D And you're quite the optimist to think I'll be all caught up by the end of the year.

Nope, definitely not me. This is a good friend of mine at her wedding. I was actually in the wedding party, which will be more obvious when I get around to doing the second page in the spread. The reddish color in the photo borders and strips at the bottom is actually the color of our dresses--I pulled the color from some of the photos I have of me.
