FYI - a couple of new public documents have been posted (as of August 26, 2019) outlining the charges. There are five counts against Spikes and three against Taunton. The original file for Spikes has been consolidated with another case number and appears to be assigned to another judge [the screenshot below is from the closed file, the active one doesn't have much up yet]. Taunton has an arraignment Hearing set for September 19 (where a defendant is formally advised of the charges against them and asked to enter a plea), he previously entered a written not guilty plea and waived personal appearance at an arraignment.
So, not a lot of new news, but still shows that the cases are continuing to be pursued.

But how can we be sure? I mean, how do we know the courts weren’t just not told by Disney that Spikes didn’t trespass and he was just in WDI??

One thing that's no conspiracy: Thanksgiving with the Spikes/Tauntons is going to be super awkward this year...

Wait. I've solved the crime. Buzzy is still exactly where he's supposed to be. How do I know? Quantum superposition. We currently have two states, Buzzy is gone and Buzzy is somewhere else in TDO. Well, quantum mechanics tells me that these states can be added together to result in ANOTHER VALID STATE.
