Anyways, does he realize that the maximum sentence he can get from being charged with Burglary of Occupied Structure, Dealing with Stolen Property, and Grand Theft in which he Geo-Tagged the evidence and has it on his phone is 40 years in prison, 5 years probation, and a $5,000 fine assuming he didn't have any help from his friends stealing the property and sold it first hand? Even if his friends helped him/he didn't sell it, that would still be 25 years in prison, 20 years probation, and $15,000 in fines. He's screwed unless he gets bailed.

There's something to be said for "sticking it" to your employer that fired you by posting the stuff they don't want to people to see online. While still childish, it's not illegal and you can understand why someone would do it. It also is an interesting case because Disney has been lucky thus far that there hasn't been more widespread instances of former cast members doing that.

But to actually steal something, nearly get thrown in jail because of it, and then go back and steal again? That's another level of stupididy entirely.

So, the police are investigating BDD for the theft of Buzzy's clothing and they are investigating BDD for the theft of HM props, but they aren't investigating him for the theft of Buzzy?

That's because Buzzy wasn't stolen. Some people thought he was stolen because WDI whisked him out outside the chain of command. And that's why the police report says that they learned it was stolen from that time frame.

But jump to the present, and there's no mention of an investigation into the theft of Buzzy himself. So, why would Disney report Buzzy's clothes missing and HM props missing but not file a report of the theft of Buzzy himself? Cuz he wasn't stolen, rumors to the contrary heard back then notwithstanding.

A report of what officers heard is not the same thing as a report claiming it happened. Because, they heard an incorrect rumor.

An official police report is infinitely more reliable than any unnamed insider who won't reveal their source.
Let’s not forget the report that named his blue hat and red jacket were stolen, along with his hands (which have been gone for multiple decades, and his gloves have been gone for over six and a half years (which, when taken, exposed his hydraulic mech, creating the illusion that his hands were chopped off)) that was completely inaccurate. Not disputing this one though
