I was at an Italian restaurant many years ago,and my starter was an Sicilian dish of Mushroom risotto with a thin layer of black pudding topped with smoked salmon.It was heaven..Some dishes are better left unexplained..Taste can be better than sight.

I too am trying Mama Melrose's for the first time this coming December. Being 1/2 Italian I can't believe I haven't swaggered that way already LOL However after all the reads on here I am definitely going to try the Strip Steak. I love steak anyways and somebody mentioned it was better than Cali Grills....I need to find out for myself
You aint lived until you have shucked an ormer.anyhoo our fair Isle is great no fast food chains whatsoever

No fast food whit!! Fried chicken! Here I come..Now I'll guess that the Ormer is either a Scallop or an Oyster..Ive got a little knife thing that is used for Shucking and Ive shucked a few in my life time,but if I'am wrong,then apologies to Ormer Simpson.You aint lived until you have shucked an ormer.anyhoo our fair Isle is great no fast food chains whatsoever
