Cheers..Ok I'am back..So it's a delicacy in Guernsey,just like oor Haggis. A shellfish limpet that caused Oliver Reed to hit the booze whilst he lived on the Island..It's French translation means,wait for it, " Ear of the sea " Well I'am a adventurous Scottish ,and I'll give anything a try once,even this lug of the sea..

Ah! The Abalone. Yes I've heard of it..Very expensive..£29 for a can. Think of all the Black Pud & Haggis I can buy with that.
