New updated route for TTA. Purple is new path. Lite blue is original. Two sections of original in TL are not used. Direction of flow is TL to FL to FrL to AdL to Main Street back to TL.
This route avoids the hub as breaking the theme of the area is something I decided to avoid. Hope this makes sense. I'm back.

Latest image from my IPad while I wait in a car shop. Modified TTA route to go around cosmic rays and then back to the TL TTA station via the city of tomorrow display and following back over the stitch ride que to the station. This path gives an extended opportunity to view the hub and castle for photo ops, also the tea cups and TLSW.

I apologize ahead of time, I honestly have not read all of the posts in this discussion, but is this just a fantasy rendition, or is there
even a grain of reality to this project. I mean the detail and all is impressive, but is this about as real as putting a dome over the
Magic Kingdom?
Fantasy of course. However fiscally it is doable. Engineering is easy for this project and well within the capabilities of TWDC. It would be a money-making addition to the park. The TTA has the highest reliability rating of any ride in the park and is one of the oldest. The reliability of the TTA makes it ideal as an inter park transit system as well as a place to have a quick service (burger fries and drink) meal. The roof of all the TTA track will have solar panels to supplement and offset grid power needs. My very first post outlines most of the how and why in more detail. I am preparing an actual point paper with cost benefit analysis and project total cost based on recent installations of TTA/People movers systems. I am not an engineer but I have a lot of experience in government contracting for large projects so I can prepare a relatively accurate cost analysis.

There are unknowns for me to consider. These are primarily going to be existing utilities support systems that could be disrupted or affected by the installation of the new tracks. Cost for such work will be hard to estimate. Additionally ground preparation on the north west side of the park around Rivers of America is an unknown and could dramatically increase project costs.

Comments and suggestions are always appreciated.

Okay, So I have a new problem. This is probably the biggest real problem to solve. Kids and small bladders. With approximate ride times of 10 to 15 minutes between stations it could be a real issue. What if the whole family isn’t done eating and a parent has to take the kid to the rest room at station 2, does the other parent and children keep eating and riding to station 3 or waste the meal and get off at station 2 as a whole family. Bladder planning before ride boarding will be a must mentally for parents if they plan a full loop meal of almost an hour length.

What if this ride was completely FP -- sort of like booking a fireworks dinner package. So on the guest MagicBand, they have signed up for the full hour tour with meal.

Maybe at one of a few station stops before the meal is provided, there are stations that allow guests to de-board for restroom breaks, before the 45 minutes of dining. The guests with the full dinner package can board/re-board in designated full-meal seats...so they can come back on the attaction after the optional restroom break, and have their meal (maybe even pre-ordered meal). Or they can bypass it and stay on if everyone's good.

45 minutes was approx the length of the Universe of Energy so that should be okay w/o a bathroom break.

It's been so long since I read the entire thread, but for emergencies (like choking/AED/allerigc rxn) if there was in a sense a 'panic' button built into the compartments that acted as an emergency brake and alert to CM for assistance?
Good point. Panic button or “On Star” type operator and manned stations every so often around the track, like life guards.

I think as long as a warning is given prior to boarding about the ride length it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. I think the idea of unloading the entire family and TSC with food still on the table and then allowing a reboard could be accommodated at each of the four stations as I did design each with bathrooms except for the original in TL. This would allow the ride vehicles to continue. When ready the family and the families food is reloaded back onto a new ride vehicle.

I don’t like the fp exclusive idea as that would actually limit the total ride through-put. Still want it as both a dining option and park transport system. Flexibility is key to the system. It moves and feeds but neither is exclusive due to lower food consumption times and periods during the heat of the day when a ride is preferred vs walking from TL to FrL. However fp for prime time meal ride times could easily be accommodated. Dinner in particular after sunset when the park is fully lit up would be pretty cool. I can see a fp option for guaranteeing a specific meal and ride time as a option. Standby with and without dining will have to still be possible.

Every comment and concept will be included in my presentation point paper. Every idea point and counter point will be included as they give the clearest picture of how to implement a complete and comprehensive plan. Small details can easily stop large projects. Drawbacks no matter how small are crucial to properly planning any endeavor. Fantasy endeavor or not. My brain is not wired to ignore reality even if the entire concept is a blue sky never to be built dream. Who knows maybe someone will see the idea and actually present something like this to TWDC and WDW for consideration. In which case I would hate for it to get tossed out because I forgot to consider children’s small bladders or a panic system. As I said before I am retired and have the time to think this through and I find it fun. I am in no hurry and I am very detail oriented. The more comments and darts that are thrown at it the stronger the end product will be.
