That's basically what we're going to do!

You would think that they hire people called custodians for a reason.

You'd think the custodians would handle that. Huh. Oh well. Can't help it now.

And the muffin method is important! once you get that down you've got the basics for pancakes, waffles, and a dozen or two other applications. :slurp:

Doing OK - things have calmed down now, so I finally feel like I can breathe again. How is Katie doing? Are you adjusting to not having her around?

Just getting abck to catch up...decided to take a short nap this morning...turned into a 3 hour one and I've been running around trying to get my errands done before Princess #2 got home. She called me as I was walking thru the door, she will be staying after for some sort of club. :brick:

Katie seems to be doing better everyday, but she still has too much free time for her liking. Jobs will be starting soon and she has already signed up for a math tutor- she got the wosrt prof on campus, he hardly speaks english and math is her worst subject. She comes home on Thursday night and goes back late Sunday afternoon...the house is very quiet without her, but I talk to her everyday.

I know bit and pieces of the language, but almost no grammar. Mostly nouns. My best friend spent 8 months in Japan in college. I was Sooooo jealous. I couldn't afford it. But one day I'll get over there.

How about you?

lol i dont' know nearly as much as i should... i took 5 months of classes in '97 and then spent the summer in Tokyo and Kyoto... I was on a performance team of kids that helped teach english to Japanese prisoners, preschoolers and important political figures... (quite a mix i know) ;) LOL It was so fun though... I wish i remembered more. We also did alot of fine arts while we were there... so very very fun

My biggest thing is learning to speak the language fluently. I really would love to have that, and teach Lizzy.

SO jealous. That sounds like so much fun! My friend considered teaching English over there for a year or two. I hear they're desperate for naitive speakers.

There's just so much about the culture that fascinates me. Plus the food isn't bad either :slurp:

My mom's friend's daughter worked in Korea teaching English in a college for 5 years. She decided to come back to the US this year, and not return to Korea.

One of these days, when I win the lottery, I'm going to travel the world. There are SO many places I'd love to see. I'd rather travel than do anything else. China, Korea, Italy, Australia, Egypt, France, England, Poland, Russia... Sigh.. not enough time.
