Trip Report Makin' Memories....One More Time! *COMPLETED*

Makin' memories
Makin' memories
Takin' pictures is makin' memories
Catchin' little pieces of time
Makin' them yours and makin' them mine
Great vacations and celebrations we love to hold near and dear
And when we're makin' memories
Happy days can reappear!

@amjt660 it seemed a little presumptuous of me to include Three Peat in the title of this trip report. A more accurate term might be Repeat, considering this is my third TR in three months. I am fearful that my WDWMagic friends may be weary of me.

But for @Big Hair and anyone else who wants to follow along, Welcome! I truly love reliving our great (and not-so-great) vacation memories through writing these reports. As always, your comments and observations are much appreciated!

So c'mon everybody, here we go........

Cast: Tuvalu, Woody and Em
Dates: June 17-25, 2017
Resorts: Port Orleans Riverside and Polynesian Village ('cause let's be honest......you can take the girl out of the Poly, but you can't take the Poly out of the girl!)

(Does this picture make you woozy? It is an appropriate representation of my Pandora experience.)

Stick around to discover what memories we made!

A modification on @Songbird76's suggestion....have Mom eat a little something before you visit Tangierine so she's not hangry. Then offer to let her try small tastes of your order. She could even close her eyes if that would make it easier for her. If she hates it, at least she has sampled it. But I would be surprised if she hates it.....;)

She won't hate it ....I know it ! haha I'm going to try this trick for sure but its like pulling teeth for her to even sample things :) Sometimes I wonder who is the child and who is the Mom :rolleyes::joyfull: You can even tell her I said that!

Hot, sunny and humid ~ the perfect @Doc Disney day! :joyfull:

I made sure to be in the lounge at opening in case there were chocolate chip muffins ~ score!! I scooped up a few along with some other breakfast items to bring to our room.

What park was on our itinerary this morning?

We walked over to the TTC. I wish there were a separate security line for people walking over from the Poly (like there is on the path from Contemporary to MK). It is a bummer to have to walk over to the tram drop off and stand in line with the masses....only to have to go through security AGAIN upon arrival at Epcot.

Em had to stand during our monorail ride. The people seated behind her did not get off at Epcot. Not sure where they wanted to go ~ I imagine they may have been surprised to arrive back at their starting point!

We entered the park shortly after 9 am.

I'll try to remember to do so next time I see her....;)

I put it on my list to try for my trip with a note saying my husband will need to eat somewhere else because like @Tuvalu he'll say he doesn't like it even though he's never tried it :banghead:
Never give up on a picky eater.....hubby may surprise you!

Wonderful picture of you and Woody!!
Awww, thanks.

Awwww! I love this picture:inlove::inlove: As always, loving your report!!
Thank you for reading! :)

So Em and I trekked over to MK and waited 30 minutes in line at Pirates solely for the purpose of this lovely picture:

As you can see, we had our Cheese! smiles ready. We literally were saying, "Cheese!"
Camera failure in the front row.
Not quite as bad as some of my Space Mountain pics.
But almost.

We exited POTC a few minutes before Happily Ever After was due to begin. We made it to Liberty Square and watched from there.

It's fun to discover new spots to watch fireworks!

We declared night #5 of HEA, "pretty darn good."

Like you @LadyBelle, I am a Disney restroom aficionado.

It is likely I have visited most, if not all, women's restrooms in the parks. Something about the bathrooms at Epcot caught my eye today. I was in five different ones. I believe what I am about to share is unique to Epcot and I wonder if any of you have noticed.

Flowers!!!

Gives a whole new meaning to "Stop and Smell the Roses".

This is my my first time posting on one of your trip reports, but I have read every singe one, but this post reminded me of this and I just had to post. Also, NO ICE-CREAM, that's awful.

There is an entire website dedicated to reviewing WDW restrooms.

Liberty Square is just a stone's throw from Frontierland and therefore easy to get to our favorite attraction to ride at night.

This is dedicated to the special lady from the U.K. who adores BTMRR but whom I promised not to tag anymore since all our BTMRR photos are making her sad.....;)

.....cause the neon in Tomorrowland is cool.

And there's another ride better at night there.

There was a "Cosmic Dance Party" going on in Tomorrowland. No characters were out. Which makes me wonder what is the appeal of a dance party without characters? Truthfully, what is the appeal of a dance party in a theme park at all?
Inquiring minds want to know....

Em and I wanted to beat the park-closing rush so we headed towards the exit and boarded a boat.

IMG_8747.JPG

Before any boat leaves the dock, the captain goes over the safety spiel. We usually tune it out because we've heard it countless times. Our boat would be stopping at GF before going to the Poly. When we arrived at GF, no passengers got off and there were none waiting to get on. The captain still said the safety spiel and then insisted that everyone onboard repeat it back to him!! He would not leave until we did. I think he was trying to be funny but everyone on the boat was tired and ready to get back to the Poly after the (unnecessary) stop at GF. :bored:

There was an eviction notice waiting for Em when we got back to our room. Note the time of her Tragical departure.

Yep, that's AM, not PM! Poor Em had a 6 am flight on Sunday morning while Woody and I had the whole day to play in the park.

Why couldn't she fly home with us?
Educators conference.
Politically correct Educators conference I might add.

The first time brad and I did the Pirates picture we were cheesin' to the front of the boat, boat it didn't matter because we were in the last row and barely visible in the picture. The next time we looked to the side and were in the front row we still look like dorks but at least we are facing the camera and visible in the picture.

I don't understand the point of the dance party either..
