Even during slow times that area can be a crowd bottleneck. Rope off a chunk of the open space and force people into the area that's left and you've got instant crowds.

A broken main would have flooded the park and cut off water supply for the entire area.

The week after Thanksgiving is usually light. After that up through New Years the crowds pick up quite a bit.

Wow! I was there that day and had no idea that this had happened. We even rode BTM that night as one of our last rides before going to see MSEP and Wishes.

Someone should clothesline this dip stick. If the water level was inches from your door, how would you feel about the wake he's puting off? Clothesline him.

Sometimes you can't do anything about that. In the summer if you get a few days of non stop rains like we do here in Florida this can happen on any given day at a moment's notice.

Actually, it was just a broken fitting on a pipe. There are small ground boxes throughout the promenade area that are called "stingers" basically just a water connection where custodial hooks up to do their nightly washdowns.

Wow! What a mess! Thanks for posting! I would have just avoided that part of the park altogether until it was fixed!
