The best magic-spoiling knowledge I gained is largely based on WHEN it was learned. I was looking through some old photos of Magic Kingdom when it was originally built. I just never stopped to think about it as the magic is done quite well. But after I saw the photo, I thought "Duh! It would be WAY TOO dangerous any other way!". I felt silly for never intuitively knowing it originally. But oh well, that's why they call it magic - even if you were 34 years old when this light bulb went off.

The liberty bell riverboat is not driven so to speak as it is attached to a rail so just goes round and round and therefore can be no accidents by drivers misjudging the course. Its just like the cars at the indy speedway.
