Same. We don't do character meals, we don't do parades, and we don't wait in line for characters. This will be a very nice surprise!

I obviously can’t speak for how things will go when the park opens on the 11th, but these mini parades rarely attracted much of a crowd as far as I could tell. It was more just people turning around to watch from where they were standing, or walking up to an empty spot along the curb. The Sensational Six and some dancers came through Town Square as we were leaving, and there were maybe 10 other people in the area. The Main Street Philharmonic marched the parade route around noon, and in a video I took, there are literally 3 other guests visible. The random pop-up entertainment really added to the atmosphere - it was a nice touch!

We're the same. We haven't been to a meet and greet for awhile and don't go to much character dining unless family want to go (Storybook Dining is an exception for us as we actually like the food, but tell the characters to keep moving along unless my son wants a picture).

Now that it's just my wife and I, we're more into the food, and the attractions, and just the experience. We leave the character lines for the little ones.

Hell yes they can, They can have roving CM around the park to make sure, by my experience at the disney stores I have been to 100% heard them getting on to customers and their kids for not following the masks every other 5 minutes! We will see

It’s funny how people think it’s so novel and unique to see characters out and about in the parks... that’s how it used to be all the time and still is at Disneyland!

Lol! Someone needs to post that photo with the caption - “welcome back to Disney World. We assure you that everything is safe”
There’s going to be hiccups, things that in hindsight probably could have been handled better etc. but that’s okay
All I hope for is some type of safe, viable structure in place - and to see moderate improvement on a day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month basis.

Same with Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. Remember when Walt Disney World used to have more variety with meetable characters instead of just Princesses, popular characters from the Disney Reinnassance, and mainly Mickey and Friends?

the random character parades are they best part. I rarely see characters on my trips.

Definitely not. But these are steps they have to take to get there again.
