The water flowing down the drop is purely ornamental. When the log leaves the rails under the bridge it lands in a long pool. It’s forward momentum takes it through this pool where it then drops into the flume that arcs around the front. Lowering the water in the long pool reduces the size of the splash. Lower it too much though and the log will run aground.

These poor attraction CMs and Janitorial. They all deserve a raise (they already did) for all
Of this extra work to clean this stuff.

I agree it is extra work but for the right reasons. I hope they will be recognized and compensated for it. It looks like Disney although they have there work cut out for them they seem to have the re bases covered so far. The big test will be coming in a few days.

Supposedly vehicles are being sanitized every 20 minutes.

That's a supply chain necessity... they can't keep enough chemicals to do every vehicle every time.

maybe its just me, but the random rare waiving characters actually is more magical to me. Although i despise standing in a line to meet a character anyways.

Me too, not that what @milordsloth said isnt true, but more that it opens up Disney for the "well i didnt have to wear it on that safari thingy" crowd that will not socially distance and line up for the Guest Services window to talk to a manager.....

It's not fast, you have to hold a wand of steam next to the surface and slowly move it around. Large blasts/flow of steam is dangerous for the person spraying it.
