Am I the only one that a bit peeved it took this long to put it up? I understand they had to film the parade, but the tree used to be in the Rose Garden before the parade in years past. It seems a bit much for me to handle when the tree is just now up, yet the park has held dozens of Christmas Parties without the full decor.

I would have to say that was probably a "penny pincher" decision...why pay the labor to put it up and take it back down, move it and put it back up again?

It was just not up because of the filming. The tree is right where kelly ripa did a lot of her shots from.

Well either we are different, we always out our tree up on Thanksgiving Day while turkey is in the oven & the parade is on. This yr though was different since we were in WDW for the holiday. So now i see what I missed while we were there.

So sad that its really come down to that. The tree really puts it into perspective doesn't it? Now its just another victim of the budget. Disney used to make a name for itself by doing things like that. It set them apart. If it weren't for the parties I'd hate to see how much would get slashed in the holiday decore dept. due to the "budget" nowadays. Oh the golden times... where have they gone?
