I liked it. I just wish the pyro budget hadn’t been cut - really my only major complaint aside from the little kid hosting it instead of Figment.

Let’s hope the pyro isn’t cut even more when it returns. But at this point I guess we shouldn’t be picky lol.

Is there a video of EF in B mode? Guess I was lucky enough to catch the kites every time I was there lol.
Found it! I had this video bookmarked when fireworks were cancelled/modified across the parks back in March due to strong wind conditions. In this case, happened about a third way thru into EF.

You can see the supposed “B-mode” for the first kite segment at around 3:40, which as mentioned is a bunch of light/lasers. Then later when the second kite segment at 7:20 comes along, it’s just yellow lights.

Fireworks from the main barges continued throughout the show, but the pyro/fireworks that launches or in range near audience were stopped. Considering the launch point for the kites were near guests, these were stopped due to the strong winds.

Ouch lol that was painful to watch without the kites. Didn’t think it would look that bad. I can definitely see where the extra lighting from the Harmonious barges would help or steady on fountains to fill the gap. Hope that’s the plan.

Just checking here lol, a little longer as in soon and nothing has changed? Or a little longer as in plans shifted again? Lol
Nothing has changed afaik.

That’s not the plan.

Question about Happily Ever After in general - I think it's fair to say that this show has received mostly very positive reviews since it first started in 2017. I have seen some of the other rumor threads mention that various things about this show was already thought of getting replaced (before COVID). Those notes were kind of walked back on in the same (and other) threads over the last several months.

We haven't heard much at all about Project Nugget or what type of 50th celebration firework show MK will be getting. I'm wondering if there has been any movement in a decision to fully replace HEA after the 50th show is over?

Seems to be a big mystery. Even if insiders have heard anything I think lips are sealed, which is understandable given how fluid everything has been. I could be wrong but at this point even Disney probably doesn’t know what to do or what plans to un cancel. I doubt they were expecting covid situations to improve enough to allow more entertainment offerings come October. Of course nothing major should be expected until 2022, if at all.

No one is confirming a 50th Tag at the moment IDK if that has changed since HEA's not back yet plus we don't even have a 50th Theme Song for a Tag! Unless DPB will post a song before the 50th? At the moment I'll just be happy if HEA returns on time!

Yeah that's kind of been my thinking through this time too ... I can't imagine how the team in charge of planning the 50th celebration offerings dealt with their budgets presumably getting slashed five times over last year.

It does also seem that they were caught a little off guard in the COVID restrictions being lifted sooner than June too which I'm sure led to even more interesting meetings with those same departments.

Man I can't wait for HEA to return either! I mainly asked because we love the show and hope it can find a way to stick around for a while so our baby (possibly being born tomorrow) can witness it when he's older. I definitely won't hold my breath, but given the long runs Wishes and Illuminations had, I do have a tinge of hope!
