They have the staffing now. They need them for the tests. PAC may be different.I’m assuming at this point it’s just about staffing?
Im thinking if Disney had the staffing right now, the fireworks would be on.

Rather, the staff hiring schedule is tied to needs they will have for anticipated summer operations. Everything except busing should be fine. Otherwise, they’re all set.I’m assuming at this point it’s just about staffing?

That's why I said next month, Martin! Unless I'm missing something (per usual).Since it’s now June
Exactly. I couldn’t have said it 2 days ago! That's why I said next month, Martin! Unless I'm missing something (per usual).
Ohhh!Exactly. I couldn’t have said it 2 days ago!
July 13th is my suspension for various reasons.....My purely uneducated and completely speculative guess...July 11th, one year after re-opening due to COVID.
Suspension or suspicion?July 13th is my suspension for various reasons.....
The latter I think?Suspension or suspicion?
Oh please!!!!! Not helping!!!!!!!I heard there will be new music for HEA, featuring Olivia Rodrigo.
I hear she just got her drivers license. It’s a big year for her.I heard there will be new music for HEA, featuring Olivia Rodrigo.
Not if she keeps hitting all the red lights and stop signs.I hear she just got her drivers license. It’s a big year for her.
Go easy on her. She went through a “breakup” with her “boyfriend” and is dealing with Disney thinking she’s less relevant than Steven Tyler. Not if she keeps hitting all the red lights and stop signs.
The whole point of the After Hours event format being used this fall instead of the party format (in addition to distancing itself from being MNSSHP) is to allow for fireworks to fun for all guests, every night to prevent pent up fireworks demand. Can we safely say HEA and EF will be regular nightly showings as they were pre covid? No twists like a After Hours event or separate reservation?
The 50th Tag for HEA might have something to do with it?..... Which isn't new for Disney, DL cut Believe In Holiday Magic for the 50th/60th and HEA played Christmas Week 2017 because it was still new.The whole point of the After Hours event format being used this fall instead of the party format (in addition to distancing itself from being MNSSHP) is to allow for fireworks to fun for all guests, every night to prevent pent up fireworks demand.
I have a feeling that we’ll be waiting to see how fireworks returning plays out before a call is made on MVMCP being replaced by Disney After Hours Merry Mixer.
As far as I’m aware, the decision was already made for Christmas. The whole point of the After Hours event format being used this fall instead of the party format (in addition to distancing itself from being MNSSHP) is to allow for fireworks to fun for all guests, every night to prevent pent up fireworks demand.

News to me, but not too surprising. As far as I’m aware, the decision was already made for Christmas.
If they want nightly fireworks in October, they’ll want them in November, too. It’s to early in the celebration. We will see about 2022.News to me, but not too surprising.
You are basically confirming “Jingle Jam” is definitely replacing MVMCP for 2021.If they want nightly fireworks in October, they’ll want them in November, too. It’s to early in the celebration. We will see about 2022.
Jingle Jam, Jolly Jamboree, Festive Festival, or whatever other alliterative name The Zach can think of.You are basically confirming “Jingle Jam” is definitely replacing MVMCP for 2021.
As someone who was planning to fork over money for MVMCP, I’m kind of relieved about the AH Christmas event, even if we don’t do it this year.
