Please what? For countless years Disney managed to do nightly shows. Now it takes them over a month, still, to bring back one they'd been doing for years? Why? They're short staffed? Then don't throw your people to the curb as soon as things start getting tough. Disney was never in danger of bankruptcy and cash was easy to come by on the open markets, if needed. Is it concerns about masks and social distancing? CDC provided top-cover for that and let's not even get started discussing the Governor of Florida's opinion. So, why, please, does it take a month more, because costs-savings and failure to plan seem to be the reason to me?
You wanted fireworks back and now you’re complaining that they are.

They are working to a time frame set months ago. For once I’m sticking up for them. Shock horror I know.

I wanted them back June 15th, when I'm at California Grill. It's all about ME!!!!!

In all seriousness, a time frame set months ago, come on... Summer in the U.S. and Disney starts Memorial day. That should have been the timeframe set months ago. Martin, come back from the dark side of defending Chapek.

Considering the current conditions of fireworks manufacturing in China as well as the issues with shipping anything from there, I would say that a one-month delay is nothing short of a miracle.

I don’t think a premiere for July 4 was ever seriously considered. It would be before (around June 27) or after (around July 11). There were multiple options, though. But they did not seriously consider any earlier in recent times (as in, once the vaccine was out; discussions before then were purely theoretical). For the record, I do not know a specific date. Just a range. I presume they’ve decided since they’ll want to announce soon (but the rest of this week is all about Avengers Campus).

People should be happy. There was a time when fireworks for the 50th were in doubt. We can wait a bit longer
Yeah, that doesn't make me feel happy...

That's like saying, hey, you should be happy, we almost doubled ticket prices, but we decided you all deserve only a 150% increase, as it's been a hard year...

It wasn’t about summer. If anything it is/was about not doing it too soon. And when things were set in motion no one knew it might be suitable earlier.

Can we safely say HEA and EF will be regular nightly showings as they were pre covid? No twists like a After Hours event or separate reservation?

Please let us know when you own and operate your own 40 square mile vacation destination with nightly fireworks

I’m assuming at this point it’s just about staffing?
Im thinking if Disney had the staffing right now, the fireworks would be on.
