This is a perfect list. Obviously, I'd like to have some of these things done before the 50th, but to have all of them done by then would bring the MK up to the standards of that major milestone.

so, they are waiting for it to finally crash and burn before deciding to repair and refurb? like Disneylands? (aka risk of fatal failure)

What ever happened to the Frontierland expansion rumor that was going around? Is that still on the table?

I think that was just a Disneyland rumor. Unfortunately for Walt's Park, the powers that be carelessly chose to use 100% of that virgin land and a few existing acres to build a Star Wars Land that will roughly amount to 25% of the park. Decisions like that and others like it are why I hope the MK doesn't have too many additions unless corporate culture changes for the better since we'd be stuck with a soulless IP park if otherwise.
It seems to be on the back burner. A few ideas were floated (not all good) but for now it seems they've all gone away. There may be something in a few years but not these.

Ok, thanks. It's probably a good thing that it's on the back burner based on Disney's last few decisions for new park "enhancements". Hopefully they'll be less obsessed with shoehorning their latest IP into areas where it doesn't fit in a few years.

Any chance we do see an expansion for the 50th or has that already been ruled out?
For the MK? So far as I know there should be new offerings but no new land or similar.
I'm sure we will see an expansion of up charge events, desert parties, and hard ticket events.

I realize not a new land but I was hoping for a new ride or something similar to the frontierland expansion. I realize we'll probably just get a new parade and hopefully fantasyland dark ride refurbs like DLR got.

Space! Really, I can't go on that attraction without being sick for the rest of the day. They need to get rid of it and bring back horizons or motion or do something with imagination.

Not Mission Space...Space Mountain. Although MS is rumored to eventually get some updates, but doubt it will help much with those who get sick. Ever try green?

That was a whylightbulb rumor and while he did put it out there that it's early, he has the tendency to put stuff out there that is being discussed but far from green lit. It's not necessarily bad information, just early and that makes it highly vulnerable.

Once the 60th is over after today for Disneyland. We will be looking forward to the 50th anniversary in five years. I hope they could create a wonderful theme for it's celebration like the 25th anniversary did. The 40th anniversary wasn't as special as seen here.

I love space mountain. It is great. I just have trouble getting out of it. I don't like Mission Space. No never tried green, too scared to.
