They could but I don’t think it’s worth the work, in all honesty. The solution to this problem is to build a parade FOR the Magic Kingdom, instead of Disneyland’s hand-me-downs.

Having seen the parade, and liking it, I don’t think it’s worth the work for that 1 float. They could easily replace Mack with a new float, or just drop that section of the parade.
But this is Disney, I don’t think rerouting the River was worth it for the Star Wars land.

The Liberty Square bridge was already rebuilt once for a parade - America On Parade in 1975 (It used to be arched)

Oh interesting. The arch was for the swan boats im guessing?

Apparently not. The arch was replaced for AOP, but the swan boats were still sailing in 1975/76
Good to see some work on the auto-plaza, from recent pics it has looked a bit of a mess.

Wow! That looks really good. I wish they would have gone with that scheme for the castle. I agree it would be great if the TTC could get this treatment as well.
So LS's Bridge was redone 4 times? 1975, 1991, 2008, 2012?
IDK, Can WDW return to Major Entertainment under the current Reservation system when it's deemed safe? Or will we have togo back to the "just buy tickets and walk right in" system before FOF/HEA/F!/Harm.? comes back? If we could have a good 50th with this new reservation system I'd be a lot less worried!

Nighttime Entertainment should come before the reservation system goes. Neither are happening in the near term though.
