Magic Kingdoms attractions continue to languish on then.

Yeah this whole situations unfortunate for Disney, but the neglect they’ve inflicted on their top park in their premier destination is coming home to roost. This should have been a moment to refresh the whole park, but in reality it should never have got to this stage where so much of an overhaul was required.

The most visited park in the world, with versions of rides bettered in other Disney parks (other than Splash which they’re destroying and Haunted Mansion). Hopefully one day this park is allowed to flourish on its own merit and not feel like Disneylands bigger, less loved sibling.

At this point I think the best we can hope for is getting back full entertainment and hopefully a few new additions (Harmonious and PTN) by fall of next year. For that to happen, it’s crucial we get a vaccine by Spring, Early summer at the latest.

The news out of Sacramento today that Disneyland will now stay closed a full year, until sometime in mid 2021 in the optimistic scenario, is not good for WDW's 50th. :(

Disneyland will now be closed for at least half of Fiscal Year 2021, the first and second fiscal quarters. And then when Disneyland hopefully reopens next summer, it can only have 25% of its customer capacity.

That's gonna really hurt the budgets for everyone, everywhere in Disney's theme park empire.

Man, 2020 and soon 2021 won't be a good time for the Disney Parks community.

Just a guess but I could see Festival of Fantasy being the last thing to return, if at all. They could deliberately not return it until Fall 2021, even if it could return sooner in 2021. Perhaps largely due to cost cutting and casting.
