Well, I'm heading out to North Carolina. I'm bringing my laptop, so I'll be on here and there. Except for Monday and Tuesday when I'm actually at orientation.

Tomorrow night I'll arrive in West Virginia, then the following night Ohio. I'm so nervous.

Used to be such a nice neighborhood.
Still is in some parts, but it has really changed.

I hate that the old people are dying off.
How is it that the 80+-year-olds kept better care of their houses than some new residents?

We took such good care of our home and our property. And so did our original neighbors. By the time we left, we were surrounded by people who thought that slapping a big wooden fence around your yard gave you the right to live like pigs and leave your dogs outside around the clock.

Made it back!! Barely...our flight from Omaha got cancelled yesterday! They rebooked us on a flight down to Houston & then from there to Newark. Spent 3 more hours on a plane than we were supposed to but we made it!
