Thanks for your opinion Dot...it's exactly the kind of thought process going through my head right now. :brick: It's a tough choice...but I don't think, in the end, either will be wrong. (Unless the one is just really crappy, or vice versa...and I have to have all kinds of repairs.)

Have you considered Sears?
I don't know how they are price-wise, but they're usually dependable.

OMG! The computer...

I'm still waiting on the disk to come for me...after that, we'll see if it works. Hopefully, I get the disk this week.

So, I'm not ready to beat the crap out of it yet.

Well, the Fisher Paykel was from a Sears. It was a Sears Outlet. The Amana was from a Maytag scratch and dent store, but I found the same one, just a bit cheaper and new in an ad for Home Depot.

Edit: ironically, the Sears guy tryed to stear me away from the front loaders. B/c when I went to that store, I had my heart pretty much set on the front loader from Amana.

Cool! I am crossing my fingers that it works out okay.

My old laptop is just about to the point where even the internet will not work great. It has stupid Windows Millenium Edition, I swear not a MONTH after I bought it XP came out, so of course nothing is compatible with it. Its no big deal I want a new computer anyway, I just need to drag it along a little while longer.

Ah, then I guess Fisher Paykel is not that obscure. I just haven't heard of them. I prefer that one over the other for its simplicity. I'd do a google search for any user complaints.

Oh...that sucks. Really a lot!

I'm hoping mine isn't going to be too much of a hassle after this. It will be practically brand new!

Well, that's just it...I did a google search and most of the reviews for both washers came up good...with, of course, a few negatives. Nothing too major. It's just deciding which one would be the better washer.

The Fisher Paykel brand is really big in Australia...they're just now coming over to the US, so we might be hearing about them within the next few years.

Like I said though, the only thing that's really keeping me from buying the Fisher Paykel one is the name, but from the reviews I've read, it's been pretty good. Plus, that one comes with a 2 year warranty and the other one comes with only a 1 year one.

I'm doing fine, thanks!
How are you, besides busy?

That's great!

I'm good- same ol same ol. Starting to slow down a little bit here thank goodness. Hopefully the boss will be away long enough for us to catch up. I have been uploading pictures for the past 20 minutes, I still have a TON left.

Ironically, I didn't have this much trouble deciding on a car...:lookaroun

I don't know why this is so hard! I just keep changing my mind...now I'm back on the Fisher Paykel brand. But earlier today, I was on the Amana. :brick:
