I posted one of my favorite monorail pictures too.

Someone actually asked (when it was my desktop at work-- a few jobs ago) if it was of the Subway in NYC. I was like yeah if you mean the monorail at WDW. (DUH!) :ROFLOL:

It's a fairly important purchase.
When washers break, it's such a pain!
Well, if I'm really thinking about it...my gut wants the Fisher Paykel one, if it weren't for the off name, I think I would have that one. But, the name is what really scares me the most, considering Amana is well trusted. It was a top loader that worked like a side loader.

Of course, WHF has an opinion about it as well (he does do the laundry quite frequently) and I think he's leaning towards the Amana b/c of the name as well. Not sure what his other reasons are.

Too bad they don't let you take it for a test run before you buy it. :D

Just read Amy's blog...heehee...

Hello lovely people - we're doing okay, I guess. Joel's eye is looking a little bloodshot, so we're keeping tabs on it - pinkeye, that's all I need. I spent the entire day running errands, it was so nice to get out of this house.

Not really here, but.. Nibbs, on the washer thing... We bought a new set 2 years ago. A Bosch front loader. At the time, I hadn't heard of Bosch at all even though the brand was very common in Europe. It got great reviews, was a front loader, and the price was right. I had the same feeling as you, that I was buying an "off" brand (which now I know not to be the case). So don't let that be a deciding factor!! Oh, I love our washer, btw. :D Front loaders are easier on your clothes, too.
