Kind of scarey future for our country?
Yeah, it is really scary. I am not looking forward to the next 4 years.

yes.Trying to avoid being political, but we have to give the next administration the same support that we have given to this....
Do they have Monday off? (MLK day)
almost a summer vacation.Yep - so Abby only went to school for 1/2 day this week, and Joel only two, now they'll have 5 days off in a row. Yay for them, :dazzle: for me
almost a summer vacation.
anyone home??
Hi Bun!
Love your new avatar!
hello jo, how goes? :wave:Bunny! I love the new picture!
You guys know I love you, and I trust your opinion, so I'm going to ask a question to only you guys and not to the general boards:
As you all know my Mom had knee surgery a few weeks ago, and it's not healing as fast as she would have hoped. She still kinda hobbles around and has a really hard time standing for long periods of time...
So when we get down to Disney with her, would it be horribly wrong and terrible of us to get a GAC just in case we're faced with horrible long lines or some ride where she needs help getting into a vehicle? She can't move very fast these days... or would that be sacrilidge?
I say get it for her. You don't want her to be getting worse or falling. You guys know I love you, and I trust your opinion, so I'm going to ask a question to only you guys and not to the general boards:

Good. I went book shopping today. This was me afterwards:
:dazzle:
I don't think it would be a problem. But they probably will tell you to just get a wheelchair or ECV for her

Hi Bunny, don't think we've met. I'm Jon.

I know how that feels.
Luckily, this quarter I didn't need that many and the ones I did need were surprisingly cheap! Lucky me
On a side note... I'm listening to Taylor Swift right now... and I'm liking it... :lookaroun
There's nothing horribly wrong or terrible about using something for its proper purpose. Why should your mom be uncomfortable, or even in pain, if she doesn't have to be? Go for it!
