Magic Friends...Remembering Bonny

You guys know I love you, and I trust your opinion, so I'm going to ask a question to only you guys and not to the general boards:

As you all know my Mom had knee surgery a few weeks ago, and it's not healing as fast as she would have hoped. She still kinda hobbles around and has a really hard time standing for long periods of time...

So when we get down to Disney with her, would it be horribly wrong and terrible of us to get a GAC just in case we're faced with horrible long lines or some ride where she needs help getting into a vehicle? She can't move very fast these days... or would that be sacrilidge?

I don't think it would be a problem. But they probably will tell you to just get a wheelchair or ECV for her

I say get it for her. You don't want her to be getting worse or falling.

There's nothing horribly wrong or terrible about using something for its proper purpose. Why should your mom be uncomfortable, or even in pain, if she doesn't have to be? Go for it!

Good. I went book shopping today. This was me afterwards:
:eek::dazzle::(

I know how that feels.

Luckily, this quarter I didn't need that many and the ones I did need were surprisingly cheap! Lucky me :rolleyes:

On a side note... I'm listening to Taylor Swift right now... and I'm liking it... :lookaroun

Do you know what they ask for when you get one? A letter or something from her doctor?

I was thinking we'd probably not use it much. It's not going to be that crowded while we're there, and we can't move very fast thanks to the girlie, but I still don't want her undoing any of the healing that's been going on since the surgery. It'd be just like her to push herself to keep up with us, and put herself in a lot of pain.

Plus, we're not the type to abuse it or anything. I don't want to be "one of those" type of people...:rolleyes:

I was SO worried about being beat up if I asked that question in the regular threads... they can get so nasty! :zipit:
