Talk about a great early birthday present... we got sent home from school at 9:00 this morning. :lol:

This time, the main hallway was fine, but the science and tech halls were pitch black. The stairwells were somehow even darker; I almost sprained my ankle. :dazzle:

But I've been studying for the ACTs all day, so it's kind of a fair trade...

Same here. I'm hoping that, with the building problems, compounds to my first-ever birthday off of school, excluding weekends.

I got up at 3 this morning to let Ginger out, and the wind was blowing so hard that I had to hold on to the door jamb to keep from being blown out the door. I've had enough!

Me too! It is currently a balmy 22 degrees (up from the 11 it was to start the morning). I quit!
