YAY! We've actually had enough cold down here where the heater has been required, I like cold weather for a few nights but NOT to the extent you have it. :lol:Good morning - Vacation is finally here! :sohappy:
Lots of cleaning to do today, but at least I don't have to go out in the snow!

I've been okay. Much better now! A while back we had a scare and were told that my dad's cancer probably came back. We just found out via a fourth and final opinion from his dr. up in Chicago that it is not malignant cancer! :sohappy: Defenitely something to rejoice this Christmas!
How have you been? How's the weather where you are (I forget where that is though... :-/)

I'm in Florida, and the weather's a little cold but nothing compared to what Dot & Betty and our other northern friends have been facing. Well thank God for the cancer not being back, that is like you said defenitely something to be happy about this christmas! So are you all ready for tomorrow or do you have some things to do still?

Um, I have an ornament to decorate for DH. Each year I make him and ornament and put a note inside, which he gets to read the next Christmas Eve. I'm a little behind this year.
I have one more full day of work, then I'm off for the holiday!How about you?

I'm not exactly sure... This is the fifth year I'll be doing it and I'm running out of decorating ideas. I have the ornament, it's a clear long twirly one--if that makes sense. Not sure what to put on it though...

Just relaxing for a bit before I head back to the kitchen....pie dough is chilling in the fridge and I have noodles drying out for tonight's supper.....just have to run the vacuum one last time and wipe off my kitchen cabinets. The kids' are following Santa's progress on the NORAD site :animwink:

So I got up this morning for the only thing worthy of getting up for at 4:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve: one of my friends was an official torchbearer for the Olympic Flame running through town! A lot of friends and family came out to support her, and since it was the last leg of the journey through town and not a lot of other people were around, we all got to run right alongside her with our own sparklers and Canadian flags all the way. :wave:
