Hello Christa, she was discharged from the rehab part of her post stroke. Pnuemonia better, new meter for diabetes (easier to use), and able to get around by herself much better! Thanks! :wave:

Sorry Christa - I wasn't ignoring you, my internet just messed up on me. I'm doing all right - feeling the effects of my busy week, so I'm kinda wiped out at the moment. We're having my family's Christmas get together tomorrow at my parents, so I have a few things to do to get ready for that. Now it looks like we might get a couple of inches of snow from that storm too, so that will bear watching.

I didn't think you were, I just had had enough of doing nothing and had a few little gifts that I needed to pick up and thought that was a better use of my time...:)

I hate snow. :(

So, our original flight left out of here on-time this morning! :eek: Looks like they may have troubles w/ the snow in Chicago and be delayed but...wondering if we should've kept it and not switched. :shrug: Oh well, it was snowing pretty good when they took off and I think we would've just been a bundle of nerves being on it. I've seen LaBamba :lookaroun

Hoping it stops and we get out of here ok on our new flight tomorrow morning :dazzle:

Guten Morgen meine Freunde!

I just took my roommate to the airport. A little sad, but I'll see him again in a month.

I leave tomorrow at 7:05 AM and I am NOT AT ALL packed or ready. But, c'est la vie. I have all day.

I'm so excited to go home!

Goooood morning my snowy friends! :wave: It got fiercely cold here during the night! It dropped to 55 and it's not to get above 65 or 70 all day! Time to break out the flannel pjs! :D

Goodmorning to all! Sorry about East coast mess guys...:cry:..if we get even a "dusting" here in Arkansas..everybody goes NUTS! The stares are PACKED with people buying bread and milk! Oh, mom is home and had a full night of rest (first time in years!), blood sugars are fine, and we are going over later to cook up some dinner for them and let Sophia see her grandparents in a home atmosphere! I hope everyone has a great day! :D :wave:

To all who are traveling - stay safe please! :kiss: Lance, I'm glad your mom is home and hope she will continue to improve.

We're on the lighter side of this storm - couple of inches so far and maybe 1 - 2 more by the end of the day. Still planning on going to my parents' this afternoon, they seem to be keeping the roads pretty clear so far...

So, it's looking more likely that we will be going sometime in the fall to Orlando....but it won't be Disney the whole week. We'll definitely be taking in Sea World and Universal too (Harry Potter - yay!!) So we may only spend a couple of days at WDW - most likely MK. And we'll probably stay at one of Uni's hotels. It's kinda strange to not be planning as much for WDW, if it hadn't been for them adding Harry Potter to Uni, I don't know if we would have ever gone there. :shrug:
