- but I promised I'd send in choc. chip cookies tomorrow for Joel's classroom party, so I hauled my butt back to the kitchen. :lol: Now I have chocolate chilling for truffles and a batch of cookie dough chilling as well. Although when I was wisking the chocolate chips as they were melting, I thought I should have gotten into the habit of lifting weights....I was wisking so hard it felt like my arm was on fire. :lol: How pathetic is that?

I've been there before. Sadly enough.
I need to finish making my treats. Most of the cookies are gone...although we do still have some left. I have to make my chocolate/peanut butter delights and I want to try to make fudge this year. So, hopefully, I can do some of that tomorrow.

I don't think I could do McD for dinner. But I'm not a big McD fan anyway. I tend to avoid it, unless necessary. Heard too many bad things and had bad experiences too. :hurl:

I can PM you the recipe - they're basically a soft drop cookie with an orange flavor and then there's a powdered sugar icing on them that has OJ in it too. :slurp:

A lot of it stems back to when I got sick one time and had eaten McD just before...tends to just leave a bad taste in your mouth...so to speak...:lookaroun

This weekend we're going to visit WHF's family for Christmas. I'm looking forward to it, for sure.
Next week, I have no legitimate plans, but I'm sure that will become clearer as we get closer to the holiday.
