Freddy, it didn't hurt AT ALL. Not the least bit of pain, honestly. Now... if you know exactly what they do, it can sound scary. But it's really not that bad. One part is pretty freaky, but it doesn't last long. Actually one eye was probably like 3 minutes. You could definitely do it. I just kep saying, "8 minutes (I thought that was how long both would take) for a lifetime of being able to see. I can do it!"

It really stinks.
My brother got it done a couple of years back, and he is soooo happy he had it done.
Maybe someday I will get the courage up. :lol:

You might need to wait a few years until you're a little older, since they want your prescription to stay the same for at least two years. Though, during my free consultation they never directly asked me that...

Well, I've been asking my eye doctor every appointment for the past 3 years or so if I could get it done. And last appointment he told me that if my eyes haven't changed at the upcoming appointment, I can get it done.

That would be cool Jo. You're not scared? Start saving now!

There were supposed to be 2 sets of dates for the program (may 19- Aug 8, and may 21- aug 15). i could only do the first one. now i find out that the first one was never available

I was planning on taking classes in Aug, and they just happen to start Aug 11th.
