I was planning on taking classes in Aug, and they just happen to start Aug 11th.

Hey Jo, I know you need to get going, but would you be able to talk to your profs of the classes that session and explain your situation? Given that it's a job thing they might be understanding if you miss the first couple of classes.

Already saw it and posted a comment!!

Missed you, Betty.

Love the TR, Fishy! I would so love to go to a P&P party...maybe someday. :)

I loved it Betty! I've already posted in it.
It's so good to have you back! (Though I was pretty much gone all last week...:lookaroun)

Awww thanks guys. I thought of you often. When I get the other photos up, I'll show you some of the silly things that reminded me of you all!

Hey, Jen. Ok today, thanks. Sorry to hear about Joel's ear infection. I think my guy is ok. No mention of ear pain, no pulling or poking.

*crosses fingers*

Only 2 more weeks till the appt with the specialist at Children's.

My niece's daughter just went through surgery to remove her tonsils and adenoids (sp?). She supposedly has never had an ear infection, but her tonsils were so swollen and filled with fluid that it affected her hearing. :veryconfu She was actually in speech, but had not been making any progress at all. They hope now she will be able to speak and hear better. I have never heard of that before. And how did the doctor not pick up on this - they said this could have been her problem since she was two months old (she's four) :brick::brick:

Yikes, that's scary. My guy has had ear tubes in twice (both sets eventually fell out). He last had his hearing tested just under a year ago, and it was normal. But that was when he had open tubes in. His speech is soooo much better than it was 6 months ago, but he's still getting regular ear infections.... :brick:

My DH had countless infections as a kid, tubes, surgeries you name it. Primarily in his left ear. His last surgery was when he was in HS or college, and as far as I'm concerned, they destroyed what was left. He can hardly hear out of his left ear at all. Just make sure your son has a really good specialist. All DH's could see was $$$.
