From what I heard, LaL is going to be removed in 2020, and the little plaques will be given to their "owners".[/QUOTE]
I doubt it.
I don't know, but I have been looking as well....I really want that music and narration from those short films.... someone, anyone, who can get them for me?!![]()
Better have excellent packaging and a superior-quality support/base. :fork::lookaroun:lol:From what I heard, LaL is going to be removed in 2020, and the little plaques will be given to their "owners".
Has that scene always been there or was it different back in '82? If so, what was it?
Flashing still pics?? Come one! It was better in 1982!Meh. It shows the people of the world and the food that they grow. Seems like it ties perfectly into the purpose of Epcot to me.
What scene? I`m still jet lagged! I can`t even quote posts properly :lol:Has that scene always been there or was it different back in '82? If so, what was it?
It would be best to ask Martin.
:zipit: Yeah...
summer, summer, spring, summer.
And it might get cold at times.![]()
New boats are now on back-order, and LWTL will most likely close for two weeks in January to install them. Or it may close for a month in January, if they get new film afterall.

So, I missed the reopening by 2 days. At least I`ll see it in 7 weeks

Ah! Nope - it`s from 1994. Before this the finale was a recap of the opening `symphony of the seed` scene with similar overgrown plastic plants and coloured lighting. We are talking about the final pictures on the wall just before unload. Is that original?
You mean this?Ah! Nope - it`s from 1994. Before this the finale was a recap of the opening `Symphony of the Seed` scene with similar overgrown plastic plants and coloured lighting.

Good point.Sometimes the use of initials on slightly more obscure rides (I choose my words carefully) CAN BE AS IRRITATING AS PEOPLE USING CAPITAL LETTERS AND LOTS OF FULL STOPS TO EMPHASIZE THEIR POINT..............................................................................sorry to sound stupid but what is LWTL?
That`s the start of the ride, yes.
No need to shout.. look at http://www.wdwmagic.com/Acronyms.htmGood point.Sometimes the use of initials on slightly more obscure rides
Thank you. I don't remember that. Listening to the video above I see the wisdom of going with the automated boats however.
Anyway, point is, I think they need a futuristic, technologically forward looking and optimistic ending to really make folks feel inspired when exiting the boat ride. That is Epcot (and Disney) at it's best.

From what I was told all the AA's are working again, as well as the mist in the rain forest.
Other than that, not much has changed. New films were planned but got axed due to budget cuts. New boats are now on back-order, and LWTL will most likely close for two weeks in January to install them. Or it may close for a month in January, if they get new film afterall.
Just got home from EPCOT...Nothing new at all to report. The croc on the right side of the boat was not working, and the last screen wasn't working in the barn section before you enter the green house.
Oops, I meant vain. Haha. Pardon me, I am under the weather.
Well, they could move the stones to WOL then. Get them out of the plaza while still keeping them in the park.
