LWTL is open!

From what I was told all the AA's are working again, as well as the mist in the rain forest.

Other than that, not much has changed. New films were planned but got axed due to budget cuts. New boats are now on back-order, and LWTL will most likely close for two weeks in January to install them. Or it may close for a month in January, if they get new film afterall.

So they still have those same tired graphics in the last scene just before unload? That should be the first thing that gets upgraded IMO.

They axed short repeating films? They seriously need some updating.

Actually, I don't know about that. It was never mentioned and I totally forgot about that scene.

Which AAs weren't working beforehand? :veryconfu

And this is very interesting. I, for one, am happy they kept the films.

The boats? It has been so long ago that I forgot what was the issue with them to begin with...

New film if the second refurb is longer? Hope it isn't character-based. :zipit:

OT: Horizons1, what does the writing say on your avvie?

That scene really is anti-climatic and needs to be modernized. Plus it could use some some subtle Horizons references for the traditionalists. That would be a nice touch.

Meh. It shows the people of the world and the food that they grow. Seems like it ties perfectly into the purpose of Epcot to me.

The crocs in the rainforest scene are the only ones I know of. But I'm sure there were others that had stopped.

They are 27 years old. Something must have come up.

"The EPCOT War Memorial. They did not die in vein."

Yes but Epcot Center was at it's best depicting an optimistic future. That last scene should do that and currently fails to. IMO.

Has that scene always been there or was it different back in '82? If so, what was it?
That section used to look into the old Biotech lab, which was located on the opposite side of the flume from the pictures. The lab is still there, behind a wall, and is now the Integrated Pest Management Lab seen during the Behind the Seeds Tour.

OH, I just figured it out. Sorry.

But I think "Body Wars Memorial: They Did Not Die In Vein" would be funny, also.

Oops, I meant vain. Haha. Pardon me, I am under the weather.

Well, they could move the stones to WOL then. Get them out of the plaza while still keeping them in the park.

From what I heard, LaL is going to be removed in 2020, and the little plaques will be given to their "owners".
