Loop Holes in Mission: SPACE

I love me some cheesy Disney songs, but Destiny is indeed crossing over into Disney Radio territory. The singer sounds like some tween star that nobody above the age of fourteen should legally be subjected to.

The joysticks are fun. They also serve another purpose: they give me something to grab hold off and squeeze, because, however much I like M:S, I am terrified of that thing. I get claustrophobic, am afraid the ride will get stuck in 'spinning position', have all sorts of doom scenarios running through my head. I'm afraid in M:S in the wrong kind of way. The way some coasters terrify you not for their thrills but because you mistrust the restraint and fear you will fall out.

I still ride that puppy though! There is something addictive about those g-forces! A feeling both aweful and hypnotising.

Well crap. I hadn't thought of that.

I think If Disney created a holodeck ala Star Trek TNG, people would still complain it was a crappy attraction
Its not a good attraction in any way, shape, or form it does not stack up to any of the other "E Ticket" attractions Disney has dished out Period. Hell The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh is a better ride.

Its a crappy attraction to begin with but there were some things I've noticed....

In the beginning of the ride they say you are experiencing what the first mission to mars would be like, then when you land on mars there is already a military looking base on the planet with a landing strip.

Also why is there snow all over Mars? I get the ride is set in the future but I don't see there being Snow on the planet (anywhere but the caps) in the near future...
One of my favorite rides.

you confuse your opinion with fact.. just like you confuse what waits there are for the attraction. Sad really when you know a simple image search on the web will debunk your claims. nevermind the app disney will give you to tell you.

Close minded AND stupid.. what a combination.
Notice there are only 3 choices of actual rides in the park.

I love when people insult me for speaking the truth. I am not going to apologize for calling out TDO and WDI for being lazy and cheap its time we quit praising what scraps we've been given and tell them what for.

You come off as a troll and nothing more. I find very few people on here praise TDO except the few ones utterly blinded by their pixie dust glasses...heck, I call out TDO for being lazy and cheap all the time. But none of what you speak is the "truth." It's all just opinion. I think M:S is a great ride and wouldn't want to see it replaced. I would certainly like more rides in Epcot but there are plenty of other places to put them. Just because you don't like the ride, doesn't mean others can't enjoy it. People have presented evidence that your claims on wait times, ect were untrue...there are three rides in the park that they listed. That's not M:S fault. And regardless, the wait time is what it is. Get over it. Also, why are you even here if you get very little enjoyment anymore in WDW? I'm quite critical of management, ect, ect, but I don't say I only go to the west coast now.

I'm not arguing one way or the other on whether or not Mission: Space racks up waits, but... that is obviously not an average day at Epcot! 60 mins for Nemo? 60 mins for SSE?

Thats not fair is it? What's that? New Years? In the weeks before and after Epcots 30th M:S had consistent waits of 10-15 minutes, both sides, different days and different times.

If you want RIDES then you are at the wrong park. By now even you should know that EPCOT is not the park for rides. Most people agree that the park is a two day park, so I don't understand your .

Yes I do.
See in my day Epcot had rides that lasted more than 3 minutes and had huge capacity. Nowadays its rides with no scenery and once you sit down in the damn thing your off it and in a gift shop. Its not a 2 day park anymore, I could do it all in a day or less now these so called people who still call it a 2 day park are in denial.

I don't give much thought to the ride. I'll go on the Green side if my oldest wants to ride, but quite frankly, I think the ride sucks. The pre-show is too long. The visuals are awful. Could make for an interesting side attraction to a better ride, but that's about it. Then again, I'm still miffed they gutted Horizons for it.

Another great tragedy brought to you by the caring folks at TDO and WDI.

I suppose if you only go to a Disney park for the rides, then perhaps you should consider 6 flags or Universal. We really won't miss you that much. Go to some mindless place that you can appreciate. Someplace where you don't have to appreciate imagination and themeing and you can feed your adrenaline reaction needs.

Oh I have sweet heart but those 3 attractions don't make a theme park let me tell you.
Well, see darlin, you made a declarative statement that "in your day", rides lasted more than 3 minutes and had huge capacity. I was simply pointing out, that "your day" must be today, because EPCOT still has that.

So, the lesson today is, less drama + less trolling = better conversations.

I would group Universal and Disney in the same category. But yes, if you just want rides and not a quality experience, then Six Flags or a Cedar Fair park would be best for Enchantames. Not Disney or Universal.

Yea, I worded that wrong. Universal Studios is much more like Disney than not, but IOA is a little more thrill ride oriented. It does a decent job at themeing though for the most part. Of course, there is the idea that a lot of the creative people that Disney let go for fear of having to pay them something, ended up at Universal. I go with your choices.
