Longest Wait

What is the longest wait you have ever had for an attraction at WDW? I have only been there once, during Easter and spring break, did almost everything, and my longest wait was 15 min. I'm curious how long the waits can get.

Heh... a LOT more.

I've never actually waited in a line longer than 90 minutes, but I've seen Soarin' at 210 before.

I waited over an hour for Test Track once (because it was raining), I think, but honestly, if you plan it properly and make best use of Fastpass then you'll never have to wait for that long even at peak times. Things like the Unofficial Guide make it sound like you need to plan everything with military precision and have no time for any fun, but it's not really rocket science - if you arrive at opening time, do the really big E-tickets first (ie the Mountains at MK, Soarin and Test Track and Epcot, RNRR and TOT at MGM and KS and Everest at AK) then you'll have the rest of the day to leisurely go around the others, getting Fastpasses for anything with long waits.

Pre-FP, the longest I can actually remember waiting was 2 hours for ToT (at Easter-time in 1996, when ToT was still pretty new). It didn't feel long, because it was our first time ever riding (it was our high school band trip, so it was a few friends and my twin brother besides myself), and that queue was and always has been one of the 3 best in WDW (or anywhere)...so much to look at and take in.

When my sister and I spent New Year's at DL in 2005/2006, I remember seeing a 230 minute wait for Space Mountain (several months after re-opening). I'm sorry, but there is not a chance I would wait nearly 4 hours!

I finally got to ride when taking advantage of early entry (we were staying at the Grand Californian). It's, by name, Fantasyland-only for that hour, but I saw people running toward TL. I asked a CM, who confirmed Space Mountain was indeed open early, and I hustled as well (no running! :)). I only waited about 10 minutes!

Well we have waited almost 3 hours for soarin, about an hour and a half for splash and about 2 hours for test track, but everytime we go its summer and there is barely walking room.

Probably no more than 45 minutes to an hour, but mostly because I don't want to. I'll see Space Mountain at 90 minutes and turn right around because as much as love the ride I don't want to listen to that music over and over again.

Lets see 2 1/2 hours for Big Thunder Mountain during a spring break trip in 2003.

And just this month 2.75 hours for Rockin Rollercoaster, the ride had just re-opened after the refurb. It had just come back up from being 101 so there were a ton of fastpass guests. Then the ride went down again while we were still in line. So what was supposed to be a 45 minute queue. Oh well I was with a group of friends so it wasn't so bad!!

But after riding Soarin with a fastpass, I can say that I will never wait more then 45 minutes in a standby line for that attraction. Overrated in my humble opinion!

Grrr...Len Testa.

We don't use plans, and the last time we went in June the most we waited was probably 30 minutes to a half hour. And that was at Big Thunder and Splash during SpectroMagic. Test Track was next, with 20 minutes. However, we didn't go on Soarin'. That was to long, and we were there at 11:00 and the FASTPASS return was already 3:30-4:00.
