Wow. I woke up maybe an hour ago, and I'm amazed at how this could have happened.
My condolences to everyone across the pond. :(

I was in shock when I turned on my computer and saw "TERROR IN LONDON" in big letters on cnn.com. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in London (and all of UK). This is so tragic. :(

I've been praying off and on since I woke up and found out the terrible news. My prayers go to all the people of London, families, medical workers, leaders, victims, etc. God bless you during this difficult time.

I haven't read the whole thread yet, I will go do so now, but, I just just woke up and read this, my prayers are with you all as I know yours were with us back in 2001. Are any of our forum members here in London?

Is it just me, or are these just a bunch of brainwashed fanatical fools who get told what to do by one or two meglamaniacs who claim to be trying to protect their faith and their people.
That's what it is.

They are also holding on to an ancient grudge from almost 1000 years ago with all those references to the Crusades. They are ed about Christians back then trying to force their beliefs on them and now 1000 years later they are trying to do the same in return.

There are a few power hungry lunatics at the centre of it. Same as it was back then.

All you need to do is get Oasis to play a stadium show, then lock the gates. You'd have all the dregs of society in one place.
Now THAT'S a great example of British humour - all $h1t is breaking lose and we can still raise a laugh.

Good job Dave!

The Terrorists said.

Britain is now burning with fear, terror and panic in its northern, southern, eastern, and western quarters.

LMAO.

What a load of BS, life is going on as normal in most parts of the UK, even in London apart from the effected areas and the obvious transport problems people are trying to make the best they can out of a horrible situation.

They cant change the way we live our lives.

Fools.

My condolences go out to the many people dead and injured in London today and there families :(

Thanks to all the Emergency services who are doing a great job as well.

Yeah, I know. It's wierd I am just sat here in work, and only about 250 or so miles from London but me and all my colleagues feel really helpless, y'know, wanting to do something and not just read or hear about it.

That is a really common feeling Hon, I know that is how I felt in Sept. 2001

I woke up, turned on the TV to get an update on Dennis and saw this right away! All the feelings of Sept. 11, 2001 came flooding back. It makes me so sick to think of how these insane people are killing right and left and we can't do much about it.My prayers are with everyone affected.

Well, the Emergency Services have done a stering job, and the other workers are pulling together - latest on transport:

Bus services in Zone 1 are returning to service.

Many mainline stations have reopened.

London Underground services will resume tomorrow morning.

Heathrow and Gatwick Express are now running. Stansted Express is still disrupted.

Thames Clippers are providing free travel on all boats.

In addition it was 4 confirmed bombs, 3 on the underground and one bus. (7 were reported because the bombs went off between stations, in the tunnels).

Very sad day, 33 now reported dead, many critical and no reports have even come from the bus explosion yet.

But good for the British, even though they are obviously concerned, the area outside of Edgware road is now open, and people are continuing on, just what is needed. They will unite the UK, like they united America. Aimed at the G8 more than the Olympics as well I think.

This is amazing and good to hear. The news reported in the U.S. is that hospitals are keeping up with the wounded and the "major incident procedures" are being carried out extraordinarily well.
