That looks fantastic! Maybe another tree or two, though. The area looks a little empty with the sand around the fountain.

There seem to be plants in the middle of it, so I'm sure there's a reason behind it.

There are a number of water plants of agricultural significance planned for the system. There are a few lotuses in there right now.
And to the person who said it looked a bit empty around the water garden, there is a jackfruit just to the left, out of frame of the picture.
It looks nice? Isn't that the point of most fountains?
Exactly. It's probably the start of a new section. I'm sure more will be added to that area over time.

Not really. Some fountains can be really ugly and just seem out of place.

Yes, but that is a working research greenhouse - in what is supposed to be a controlled environment. It does not need to be "prettied up"
You would not expect to see lava lamps in an Operating Room either.
I can't see the research purpose this brings. Sure, there are certain plants that will only grow in flowing water under certain conditions - watercress and wasabi (real wasabi) spring to mind.
However from a research standpoint you would create a flume with easily configurable depth and flow rates. Not somthing that looks like it was taken out of someones backyard.
It does look very nice and all, but I though the greenhouse was just fine before. It is what it is, a research facility - and quite a nice one at that. I have been in some greenhouses that are nowhere near as nice as the EPCOT one.

Well I still think it might be just the start of a larger scale project turning that first greenhouse into a more tropical based one.

I agree it looks great, but that it isn't necessary considering the purpose of this area. I always enjoy when you are on LWTL and you see cast members working on the various plants - it reminds you that this isn't just a show or ride but a working greenhouse. This fountain just seems to negate all of that.
