While she didn’t technically say that we could help ourselves to breakfast, she didn’t say that we couldn’t either.

Besides, I’ve been up 5 and a half hours. This is more or less lunch!

That moment when you realize you’ve made a very wrong turn.

From the Brooklyn Bridge, we were 23 minutes from our destination.

18 minutes later, we are somehow 28 minutes away.

I told you this would be our “walking day”.

We detoured from the Bikeway (deliberately) to visit the Titanic Memorial Park.

From there, the Brooklyn Bridge appears to be just a few short blocks away.

This is not the case. This is a trick. Do not fall for it. You have been warned.

As I was looking to the North (I presume. A previous post indicates that my sense of direction whilst walking is not the best!), I spotted my beloved Chrysler Building.

Mike made me zoom in, and sure enough, there’s the Empire State Building as well.

And ... our hotel building. Even against the NY skyline, North America’s tallest hotel can sometimes be seen.

Leaving (disembarking, coming off?) the Bridge, we came upon the court house and municipal buildings. Just lovely.

Parking cracks me in this city.

I SWEAR this is the same garage, but different rates, depending from which street you enter.



Like a Matchbox/Hot Wheels garage ... for rich people.
