So, we all just roll with all the politicians blaming each other for the previous administrations mistakes…in perpetuity…?!
They got us where they want us, if that’s what most of the population thinks.
I think I need to try to be a politician…wait, closet skeletons… :cautious:;)
That could be the most perceptive thing you’ve said.

The only eye-catching bit of interest at the initial unveiling of this film was Gal Gadot as the evil queen. After that it has been one uninteresting stumble after another. The attempts at creating controversy and being edgy have not caused interest in seeing the film but something to talk about but not see, Meh. Once a film (not in theaters, Yet!) achieves that Meh status, wellll simply put not expecting any level of success.

The fact that you think anyone has the ability to lower inflation (worldwide inflation after a worldwide pandemic, no less, to which your guy contributed) tells me all I need to know.

See ya in Chit Chat.
Could not agree with this more…we also had one of the best recoveries in the world the last couple of years…. And he took credit for a good economy he inherited 8 years ago

To heck with this, I’m out.
So many more important things in life than this back and forth bickering.
I have a beautiful wife of almost 36 years, 3 wonderful grown children, 2 amazingly perfect young granddaughters, and the Holidays are right around the corner.
Sincerely…happy Holidays, and cheers to all…!!! :)

He took over a decent economy and made it a whole lot better for all.
And, nobody ended up in a concentration camp, reeducation camp, or getting executed.
Sorry that calling half the voters white supremacists, racists, Nazis, Hitlers, dictators, fascists, tyrants, etc., etc., etc, ad nauseam, didn’t work for y’all this time…not.
Better luck next time
Most people don’t believe that about half the voters….IMO most people voted for him because of inflation….I have a few co-workers that can’t stand him but voted for him anyway for this reason…. What people don’t understand is inflation is not going to decrease magically…. In fact prices are probably going to go up due to his tariffs…. The majority of the people don’t follow all the dangerous things he has said…unless your MAGA… but they adore everything he says

Most people don't understand Macroeconomics, let alone Microeconomics, but yet those same people vote as if they do. Prices are high due to a couple of factors, including inflation, of which we had a world leveling event that caused it to skyrocket. Add on top of that corporations taking advantage of that by gouging consumers and blaming it on that same inflation. Prices won't go back down, they'll only continue to go up. The only way they go down is with deflation, and the biggest driver of deflation is a recession or depression. Neither of which most people want because it starts affecting too many people due to losing jobs across almost all industries. Yet you have Elmo bouncing up and down on stage like an idiot saying you have to brace for hardship because of what they want to do to the economy, saying the quiet part out loud. So yeah buckle up, if what they say they plan to do actually comes to pass, well a whole lot of the same people that voted for this are going to be surprised with the outcome, as it'll end up affecting them the worst.

I’ll take up @MoonRakerSCM’s challenge and talk about the trailer. I didn’t love it. There was nothing there that really struck or resonated with me—it seemed a pretty safe retelling of the original with a few twists that weren’t clearly enough indicated for me to have any real sense of what they would involve. My guess is that Disney is trying to avoid stirring further controversy and so opted to keep the trailer as middle-of-the-road as possible. The result fell rather flat for me.

I did like Zegler’s singing, though.

It’s playing in front of Wicked, so it really wasn’t a huge “leak”.
Yes…I heard that…. Is that common for different studios to attach a trailer to another…. I am not talking about trailers movie theaters choose…. I am talking a studio seeking out another’s film… if anything I would of expected Snow White to attach to Moana

It makes sense to attach the Snow White trailer to Wicked, they're both fantasy musicals, they have the same demographic.

Gal Gadot is actually my least favorite part of the movie so far. She was good in the first Wonder Woman, but in everything else I have seen her in, she lacks range. I also think she lacks the sinister edge needed for this role. Someone like Lady Gaga, who can have more of an intimidating presence, would have probably been better tbh.

Yes, its fairly common for many movies from different studios to play in-front of a rivals studios movie. If you notice most trailers for films usually have something in comparison with the main feature, whether genre or even target demographic, all based primarily on the 4 quadrant model.
