Disney's SW2024 isn't trying to imitate the look of Disney's Snow White.I didn't see anything in the teaser to suggest that they were trying to imitate the look of Disney's Snow White.

Oops. Don’t tell Disney! It’s going to be pretty confusing. The copyright to the story has expired but I believe (don’t know for certain) that the characters as depicted in the 1937 movie are still trademarked. Snow White won’t be able to wear the iconic dress, the dwarfs won’t be “Happy,” “Dopey,” etc.
I beg to differ:Disney's SW2024 isn't trying to imitate the look of Disney's Snow White.
From what I recall, most of the thread was people complaining about Ariel being black and other people complaining about people being racist. That makes no sense because TLM is a movie. What could they have been discussing about politics?
I hope her salary was high enough for her to put up with maintaining that bob lol.I beg to differ:

Perhaps, but this is also totally ridiculous. These people sound completely ignorant and totally ridiculous. Because they are.
Looks like it could be funny. Maybe the movie will have a good bit of humor in it. Like Pirates.
Are they doing re writes on this still or is this in the can as is?

Hasn't this been confirmed to just be stand ins?
Stulte!Am I weird because it took me a minute to deduce that TLM was "The Little Mermaid" and instead reflexively took it to mean "Traditional Latin Mass"?![]()
I think some of them are the actual actors. Moreover, their costumes are presumably close to what we’ll be seeing in the film.Hasn't this been confirmed to just be stand ins?
The wants to get paid for every hour she had to be in that bob, and for every minute that bob was viewed on any media, screened or streamed.I hope her salary was high enough for her to put up with maintaining that bob lol.
No. And if they were, why would they be wearing different costumes than the actors? Would defeat the purpose of the staging, lighting, etcHasn't this been confirmed to just be stand ins?
Of course they look ridiculous. They’re supposed to. You guys act like the seven dwarfs were acting out HamletNo. And if they were, why would they be wearing different costumes than the actors? Would defeat the purpose of the staging, lighting, etc
An official Disney statement at the time the pictures leaked said otherwise: “These show stand-ins for some talent and do not feature Rachel Zegler or Andrew Burnap.”
No one in that picture are the characters depicted by either of those actorsAn official Disney statement at the time the pictures leaked said otherwise: “These show stand-ins for some talent and do not feature Rachel Zegler or Andrew Burnap.”
Yes, but that still leaves the earlier part of the statement: “These show stand-ins for some talent”.No one in that picture are the characters depicted by either of those actors
I still don’t know what possible difference it makes. We don’t know what these people are like in the movie. Maybe they’re dressed perfectly for their roles. Maybe they’re rehearsing The Silly Song lol.Yes, but that still leaves the earlier part of the statement: “These show stand-ins for some talent”.
