Last night on The Tonight Show, Jay mentioned that Lindsey would be on the show tomorrow (tonight). I remember specifically thinking, "Yeah, right, she'll probably get arrested within the next 24 hours or so."

She is one of those people who will never learn. The studios will not be able to get insurance on her so she will be unemployable.

She is not even 21 and has destroyed her life and career.

It's funny how Christina A-Gorilla started out being portrayed as one...and she's the most "down to Earth" of all of them :D

(For the record...of all 4...Christina wins my vote as the hottest :wave: )

You're right about that - she definitely has more class than the 3 of them put together!

I am sort of surprised she's even lived this long :shrug:

Totally agree on Christina... I think she got a little wild early on, but never seemed to get anywhere near as crazy as the latest batch. I like her :D

Jail Time Likely for Starlet If Convicted, Lawyers Say

Lindsay Lohan, who was arrested early Tuesday on charges of driving with a suspended license and felony drug possession, faces likely jail time if she is convicted of all the charges against her, criminal defense lawyers told ABC News.

Santa Monica police arrested Lohan early Tuesday and booked her on misdemeanor charges of suspicion of driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license and two felony charges of possession of cocaine and transporting a narcotic into a jail. Lohan has a separate misdemeanor drunken driving charge pending against her stemming from a car crash in May.

If convicted of all the charges against her, Lohan faces up to several years in prison, though criminal defense lawyers said she would get far less jail time, if any.

"She is in a world of hurt," said Steven Cron, a criminal defense lawyer in Santa Monica. "Any judge is going to want to make sure she's off the streets for a while. I think she faces a substantial amount of jail time."

While warning that it is still too early to say what will happen to Lohan and that all the facts of her arrest still are not known, several Los Angeles criminal lawyers told ABC News that they expected Lohan, who recently left rehab and has been wearing an alcohol monitoring ankle bracelet, to serve at least some jail time if convicted.

Lohan's attorney Blair Berk and her publicist did not immediately return calls for comment. In a statement released to the Web site TMZ.com, Berk said that Lohan had relapsed. "She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care," the statement said.

'A Very Bad Situation'

Driving with a suspended license, when the suspension was for drunken driving, carries a mandatory 10-day jail sentence under California law.

But the drug charges lodged against Lohan raise the possibility of significant jail time, though lawyers said the exact amount would be impossible to predict.

"The cocaine takes it to a new level. That's a felony," said criminal defense attorney Neil Shouse, a former assistant district attorney. "This is a very bad situation for Lindsay."

Shouse said Lohan could be sent to prison for up to three years on the drug charges, though he expected her to receive a much shorter sentence, if convicted. A sentence of 90 to 120 days in jail would not be uncommon in similar circumstances, Shouse said, though a judge could opt to order Lohan to undergo drug treatment instead.

"Some sort of in-patient treatment or jail time would be typical in this scenario," he said. "She certainly has encountered some legal woes with this situation."

Lawrence Taylor, a former deputy district attorney and deputy public defender in Los Angeles who specializes in DUI cases, agreed. "She's definitely in some deep water," he said. "It's impossible to predict, but my best guess is she could be looking at anywhere from 30 to 180 days."

They also said a court would likely order Lohan to undergo mandatory drug treatment, possibly in addition to jail time.

Barry Simons, president of the National College for DUI Defense, said Lohan might qualify for a California drug treatment program, which would allow her to avoid jail, if she can show there was no cocaine in her system when she was driving.

New Charges

The 21-year-old movie star was arrested early Tuesday after failing a field sobriety test, police said. Her blood alcohol level was at least 0.12, over the legal limit of 0.08. Police found cocaine in one of Lohan's pants pockets during a prebooking search, the police said.

Lohan was released on $25,000 bail shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Last week, Lohan turned herself in to Beverly Hills police to face separate charges of driving under the influence and hit and run. Police said Lohan lost control of her Mercedes and crashed into a curb last May. She then allegedly walked away. Her blood alcohol level was above the legal limit at the time, the police said.

She was released on her own recognizance last week. A court date is scheduled for Aug. 24 in that case.

It is possible that Lohan will not serve any jail time, even if she is convicted, and lawyers said they did not expect prosecutors to pursue the transportation of narcotics charge. But after Lohan's prior run-in with the law, and after the debacle with Paris Hilton, attorneys don't expect Lohan to receive favorable treatment.

"The courts are being careful not to appear to give favoritism to celebrities," Shouse said. "I don't think the court will be particularly lenient with her."

While some say otherwise (like at the end of the article), I don't understand why many of the analysts continue to say (as others quoted within the article do above) that in situations like this, it is normal to get short sentences like 30-90 days. That may be the case in California, but a Virginia judge would not be kind. (At least I don't think so.) While I like Lindsay Lohan as an actress and I think she has intelligence, this is repeat behavior -- and she has been warned. She might need "therapy," but she has already had that chance. And sincer her behavior endangers society, I cannot see how a judge would not impose a meaningful sentence on her, both to protect society and to send her a clear message.

Didn't take too long to see an example of exactly what I am talking about with disproportionate sentencing, if repeat DUI people like Lindsay get a slap on the wrist.

Check out the sentencing that this 21-year-old in Florida will likely get for mooning someone from a car while on probabion... (It is at the end of the story.)

A family driving west on Interstate 4 in a silver Mercedes-Benz on Sunday evening made the men in the black Chevrolet Tahoe mad.

The Mercedes had cut them off, the Tahoe's driver later told a Seminole County deputy, so front-seat passenger John Thomas Taylor dropped his pants and mooned the family, including their 14-year-old son, according to a Sheriff's Office report.

Taylor, 21, was arrested and hauled to jail, accused of committing a lewd and lascivious act in the presence of a child younger than 16.

He was being held Monday evening without bail in the Seminole County Jail.

He was not eligible for bail because Taylor also was accused of violating probation. Last month, he was placed on 18 months of probation for driving without a valid license in Orange County.

He told deputies Sunday that he hadn't mooned anybody.

Two witnesses told deputies that Taylor had dropped his pants and hung his bottom out of the window, according to the Sheriff's Office report. One was the back-seat passenger in the Tahoe.

Deputies ordered the Tahoe to pull over after two callers phoned the Sheriff's Office to complain that the Tahoe was involved in a road-rage incident.

The family in the Mercedes told deputies the Tahoe had cut them off and was driving recklessly, and that Taylor had thrown something at them and mooned them.

The Tahoe's driver, Kyle Lee Donaldson, 18, of Orlando, told deputies that the Mercedes cut him off. His back-seat passenger, James Patrick Sears, 19, of Orlando, told deputies that Taylor had hung his bottom out of the window but had exposed only a small portion of it.

Chris White, chief of operations at the Seminole County State Attorney's Office, said his office had not yet decided what charge, if any, to file.

If convicted of the charge alleged by the Sheriff's Office, Taylor could face up to 15 years in prison and forever be identified as a ______ offender.

White said his office might charge Taylor with exposing himself, a misdemeanor that would carry a maximum sentence of a few months in jail.

Taylor's family would not comment.

It just seems like the California law applied to repeat-offender celebrity DUIs, like Paris' and Lyndsay's, are too short, compared to the sentences on other things, and considering the possibly deadly danger to others that DUIs represent.

Just a thought.

Man, what's up with all of the insane Hollywood chicks these days? Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, Lindsay Lohan...

Its such a shame really, because I watched the Parent Trap remake the other day and she was just so young and innocent in that movie. :shrug:
