The attendance at wdw is probably - my guess - too high mathematically to go full on high prices and divide into such classes. There could be more people buying than they can sell…and there would be hell to pay

I always see the same refrain... that won't work at WDW. Never mind it works at parks all over the world. No way for WDW. I totally disagree. If sales vs.capacity is limited appropriately, it would work. Of course, not everyone could have access. No priority access plan can include everyone. Both plans would potentially reach the point of being sold out depending on crowd levels, but that's just the nature of the beast. Anyway, just my own opinion of course. Disney gonna do what Disney gonna do. I just don't understand why they are intent on making it so complicated.
I keep hearing over and over by you and some others about Disney is looking to change G+. Could someone direct me to a article that says this? Has Disney said it or is it from Disney fan sites? I know guest satisfaction isn’t good with the system, i had my vote counted with it in my survey, but cant find anywhere, from Disney that they are looking into it. Thanks.
Disney hasn't said anything but insiders in here have said changes are coming. With them stopping advanced sales and refunding anyone who purchased it after January 1st hints at changes.
Ill believe it when i see it. Not saying they aren’t working on changes but i can name dozens of things that have got bad guest satisfaction ratings over the last 20 years that have never changed. I hope the “ insiders” are correct on this one. Thanks.

The problem I see with this is that they have to find a price point at which people will voluntarily elect not to buy. If they deny passes to people who consider the price reasonable and are willing to buy them there will be widespread dissatisfaction - maybe even greater than what exists now.
I understand all of that and I still think an Express Pass system would work. I will say it and it will annoy and upset some but waiting in lines is part of going to a theme park.
They have to do both then. Obviously $15 isn't enough of a deterrent. It should be more like $50 a person.

My guess is that’s what they’re trying to figure out now.
That is the problem…cause the wdw clientele is the least likely to reject an upcharge and the most likely to complain about it.
I would add they are also likely to reject having to stand in any time of significant line.
You laugh but some of the better regional parks would be up there in attendance if they were opened year round. My home park is the highest attended seasonal park in all of North America. It's why I laugh when I see complaints about waiting in long lines. The top rides are easily 90 minutes to 2 hours on average each day.
