Though being able to add Park Hoping for just one day vs only duration of your trip would be nice
My dream.

Those are my thoughts as well. More announcements and concept art than dates and reality. Even if something is built, we all know budgets get slashed and it never ends up like the concept art too.You mean with the largest park in Orlando since Epcot (dak is bigger…but more of a technicality because the safari is massive) about to open in Orlando?
“Hey Bob…you didn’t open anything big in your ENTIRE tenure in the family tourism Mecca…how’s that taste, Napoleon?”
…Anyway…
I’m gonna put this on record, so the 5 Bob defenders in moms basement don’t try to “zing” me on it when it happens (all 5 are undoubtedly lurking here…and they’ll do it anyway )…
Disney will announce “big new plans” for wdw this summer/fall. Little doubt of it. @marni1971 can chip in his take if he wishes…
But it’s just to make the announcement. Im I’m expecting grandiose plans with no specifics timeframes. Because Bob is gonna try to twist slaphead’s “blue sky” debacle from last year and make it more tangible…but still non-committal. They have zero desire to spend. They thought stretching out the construction just ending for 15 years was plenty…and they actually end up losing ground to competition in the end. Brilliant.
But they need the pub. Need to try and create the illusion of not being feckless. So get ready for the show and SycoCon…or whatever investor symposium Bob hangs out at (hopefully one with an open bar)
Get ready. But the problem is when you slap “coming soon” on every wall for 5+ years - while trying to hustle after hours tickets on the old stuff - they have eliminated their response capabilities.
and that elephant should get even more perks for as much as I pay for that monstrosity lol
If you play the refresh game yes. I’d rather not though. Plus anyone wanting to book later in the day could that way instead of constantly checking to get it thereI'm trying to not ask for too much, but yes. lol
Given the system currently, you can always modify the time to push back.
Also, I would think that WDW has a pretty good idea of what crowd levels are at different times of the year, so they could easily assign the price of G+ based on the price of a single-day ticket. That eliminates any chance of resort guests purchasing G+ in advance paying more than everyone else who purchases it the day of their visit.Buying it in advance would at least lock in the price. If it ended up being less than that price on the day though, there would be some unhappy guests. So my guess is it would be priced at a lower price point than the normal daily price for the time of year.

And the “negative capacity” problem? Gaps in the lines during the morning/afternoon…slots not being taken…BUT the computer holding the standbys expecting them to be used and then an accordion style logjam?and allow guests to select the time they want (like you can for an ILL) so I don’t have to run from Remy to Spaceship Earth or Big Thunder to Space Mountain
Well he’s like Davy Crockett in the Alamo at this point. Those are my thoughts as well. More announcements and concept art than dates and reality. Even if something is built, we all know budgets get slashed and it never ends up like the concept art too.

That’s actually the smartest decision Disney has made and continues to make. There is no need for a 5th gate whatsoeverSure, he opened no new parks in Florida (or the United States) during his term as CEO, but he delivered two new ones in China over that time!
Oh there will never be a 5th gate…because it doesn’t make sense. They knew that 25 years ago. That’s actually the smartest decision Disney has made and continues to make. There is no need for a 5th gate whatsoever
Bob “dvc members are awesome…except we don’t want them in the parks because they don’t spend enough”And timeshares…lots of timeshares…and he hates the occupants

Disney is Great!Oh there will never be a 5th gate…because it doesn’t make sense. They knew that 25 years ago.
So I’m not advocating that. Just pointing out bobs “legacy” are decaying parks that are no further along than when he found them in reality.
And timeshares…lots of timeshares…and he hates the occupants
They love me back when they direct deposit my dvc dues…I never hear a word of complaint that dayDisney is Great!
Disney is Awesome!
Disney loves me!
I'll take 50 popcorn buckets please!
Funny how that IT system never fails but all the others for guests do at times lolThey love me back when they direct deposit my dvc dues…I never hear a word of complaint that day
It makes it needlessly more complicated in a quest for cheap, easy cash.Serious question. How does this make an already loathed product (G+) better? For a company that surveys the color of the bathroom soap dispensers, how could anyone justify making these "enhancements". How does this entice people to want to come to Disney?
Or they just don't care.
